Wyzrd 12 Report post Posted September 7, 2008 That is probably better then what I would have drawn lol. Also the reason the tags do not work on that second one is because that link goes to a webpage and not a image. Notice how it ends in .html and not something like .jpg, .gif, .png, or so forth. Wyzrd 12 Report post Posted September 9, 2008 Ah, I see what you are saying. Apparently Marked has it so we can't use .bmp and that's what it is on that site. I will contact him now about this issue for you.
Marked 197 Report post Posted September 9, 2008 Thanks for the PM Wyzrd. Ah, I see what you are saying. Apparently Marked has it so we can't use .bmp and that's what it is on that site. I will contact him now about this issue for you. That's correct. Your image is almost 2mb which make this topic really slow to load. You shouldn't save your images with that file extension, especially not for posting on forums. Try a .jpg or .png instead.
fother0 0 Report post Posted September 9, 2008 ya the size is because it was a scan originally 13 megs (i was shocked) but its res. was massive. i downgraded it as much as possible and got 2 megs, I didnt think pic ext. mattered.
Marked 197 Report post Posted September 9, 2008 Yeah, it's not too important depending on which you choose. For the internet, you are going to want .jpg or .gif files because they are low in file size. PNG's are small also and preserve transparency. I honestly don't know what .bmp's are for... they are huge in file size and i don't know why someone would purposely choose that extension to save their image. You should alter you scanner settings to scan the image as a png file. You also don't need a huge resolution unless you plan on colouring it in photoshop or something. Wyzrd 12 Report post Posted September 9, 2008 F0ther0 I just put a .jpg version of it in your post. You may right click and save the image to have it for yourself. This way when people visit this thread they won't have to go to another website to see it.
