Going on Leave + updates

I'm going to be leaving for a while. I won't be back until December.

 

I am on my final year of highschool this year and going to University next year. I recently had my third birthday since this forum was started(It seems so long ago that I was 15 when I started it). My final school exams are coming up in November and the last term of school for me starts on Monday. Having lost total motivation for school I have lazed around the entire year and not done any work, so I'm very very close to not making it to university. An example of my failures this year which my Biology class found very impressive was attempting an entire paper and getting absolutely nothing right. Over all three biology papers I got 4 questions correct, which is an average of 1.3 answers correct per paper. It doesn't matter which country you're from, you know thats bad. So by now you should be beginning to understand why I'm leaving. I will also be, traditionally at this time of year, placing my computer in my closet so I will not be tempted to use it.

 

Another reason is that this forum has started to really frustrate me, and I need a break. But on a more positive note, we've had a lot of successes recently. You can thank Emily for that. We have increased our traffic rank by almost 300,000 and our page views have increased by 319%. That's really good. We are very close to being more popular than we have ever been.

 

As said in the title, there are some updates. Staff members, there is no longer a staff section. It has become pointless and will not be used(even if it was there). There are no longer any reviewers or a reviews section. I also have some concerns about current staff members who do not actually do anything on the forums. While they are active members, I'm not sure they need to be staff. But that won't be sorted out until I return in December.

We'll miss you Marked. Don't worry, you'll be back on here before you know it. 2 months will fly by like that -snaps fingers-. We had a "Staff Section"? I mean, I know about Admin, Moderator, Local Moderator, Subscriber, Member and Banned. (Was there more then that?) You learn something new everyday, even when you don't know it.(<- Very true fact) Hope you do well on your exams. (-chuckles- it's kind of funny really, you might not read this until you come back.) Oh well, it's still good to say/type it anyway.

The staff section was set up so no one could see it but staff, so you would have never know it existed Nisage for that reason.
