XLR8 0 Report post Posted March 19, 2009 Well. I guess you are making a side scrolling game. XP is not the ideal program for making side scrollers. I have an idea how to make one but you would guess alot of custom tilesets. If you are not, try using an ABS like Blizz-ABS or Mr. Mo's ABS. If you want to try making a battle network one, you can use Minkoff's Animated Side View Battle System. (Not actually made by Minkoff) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Just use edit next time. janorre, Mega Man is a side scrolling game, RPG Maker XP makes RPG games. But, if you want to make a battle network game, or an action mega man game, it shouldn't be that hard. May I suggest something? Try to make an original game! Most, no all fan-games in RMXP have never been finished, though there is a zelda game in development that is near finishing. You can make some great fun RPGs with RMXP, so why not try? >,< If you have your heart set on this, then you might wanna wait for Action Game Maker to come out.
