0 EmilyAnnCoons 7 Report post Posted October 27, 2008 To put a face on the text box itself...that would require getting a script... Here is a tutorial I made for using facesets easily http://www.rmxpunlimited.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=167 If you don't like that, though, then go here http://www.rmxpunlimited.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=30 It's a script that will help you out...but it would just be easier to use the tutorial in the first link...getting the dubealex faceset script to work with regular RMXP is a pain...I know, I've tried...that's why I came up with that tutorial... 0 ~Parapluie~ 0 Report post Posted October 28, 2008 Thak you so much!! ^_^ When I first come here searching how to make a face I've came to the Dubealex faceset script, but never be able to use it properly :(
0 EmilyAnnCoons 7 Report post Posted October 30, 2008 Yeah, the dubealex script is near impossible to use without the Posilaty Knights Edition of RMXP 1.01, which has a little extendable bar in the "Message Window" event command. Using that allows you to add more text, which, in turn, allows you to use more complicated scripts. To use my faceset tutorial properly, you will need dubealex's message window script, plus the edit that is in the topic. Other then that, though you don't need anything else, and a simple change in the x and y variables is all you need to make it so it works without the dubealex script.
