Fast Cave Mapping

A tutorial on mapping caves by Undwight

 

 

The following tutorial can be applied when making other maps using the other cave dungeon tilesets.

Do I have your permission to add this to our mapping tutorials section on our website? Obviously you'll get credit and you will even be able to edit the article afterward.

That's a very nice offering, definitely yes. I also made other mapping tutorials, I'll post them if I have the time. May I know if there is a section for requests especially in mapping, I can help.

Great, thank you very much. I'll PM you the link when it is done. All of the images will also be uploaded to RMXP Unlimited in case the externally linked ones are deleted or something else happens to them.

 

 

We used to have a forum for requesting tutorials, but we got rid of it when we simplified the RMXP forum sections. We used to have something like 50 forums alone for RMXP and RMVX and decided it was way too complicated.

 

The closest thing we do have though is the RMXP Training Center which has currently has/had Black Shadow as a teacher(classes are not limited to one teacher though). This is something a few RMXP forums tried and failed, but we just keep it there because it has some useful content within it.

Sad, but I'll still help by posting new mapping tutorials. If you have personal requests for any mapping tutorials, just tell me. Thank you also for adding my tutorial on the mapping tutorial section. I hope my other future tutorials will be also posted there.

One thing I noticed though is that the hell cave, seems to be smaller than it should.

 

Since we're trying to integrate a points system on the forum, I will give you 3 points since you have an article on the website. If the points system takes off, the points should benefit you in the future.
