If you start the game from Game.exe then it will show the title. I was getting annoyed at always going to the title screen when testing little things that require a lot of opening and closing the game, so I rearranged some things in Scene_Title. Wyzrd 12 Report post Posted December 1, 2008 This is quite handy. I can see where this really comes into play.
Marked 197 Report post Posted December 2, 2008 Yeah, I actually searched for a script like this before because I needed it for testing(not that I make projects). I "re-wrote" the script, and by that I mean I added three lines and two words to Scene Title. It does the same thing that first one I posted did but its much simpler. EDIT: I was searching the forum and found Punks version: http://www.rmxpunlimited.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=
higgle2piggle 0 Report post Posted December 19, 2013 (edited) Hi, great script. I hate to be annoying but, the "Title Graphic" acts as a "Panorama" with Tilesets that do not have a set panorama and maps that use empty or transparent tiles on the map. Its like the script forgets to clear the "Title Graphic"... or am I just using it wrong? I pasted after Main and before Scene_Debug. Cheers Edited December 19, 2013 by higgle2piggle
Polraudio 122 Report post Posted December 19, 2013 You shouldn't have a title graphic since it skips the title completely. Make sure its directly above Main and below everything else. Theres also this you can try. Shouldn't be any different. http://www.gdunlimited.net/forums/topic/75-title-skip/
Broken Messiah 20 Report post Posted December 19, 2013 I remember this script being very useful with playtesting a bajillion times :) Its a staple script that I actually put into the base scripts.rvdata so its in new games by default.
