Bahamut 0 Report post Posted January 21, 2009 I have a very weird situation in my battle system (default + RTAB) where the cursor is not always on top, but rather "under" the menu window so it is hard to tell what character you are selecting. Anyone knows a way of making the cursor "always on top"? Or can someone give me some insight as of how can I get this fixed? Thanks,

Polraudio 122 Report post Posted January 22, 2009 A picture and the script would help lots.
Bahamut 0 Report post Posted January 22, 2009 Here's a screenshot. I went to the "Item" menu and selected an item to use on an ally. The actual screenshot is where I'm supposed to select which character the item goes to. As you can (barely) see, the cursor is behind the window (it is on Elderane). This is the windowskin (the full red circle with the arrow should appear on top of the window): I'm using Cogwheel's RTAB system with the DBS. (i can't post the full script, it is apparently too long)
Leon 55 Report post Posted January 22, 2009 Odd, i use the RTAB and never encountered this problem. have you tried finding another copy of it and replacing it?
Polraudio 122 Report post Posted January 23, 2009 Or you can try it into a new project and see if you have the same error. It might be conflicting with another script.
Bahamut 0 Report post Posted January 23, 2009 I do use the HP/SP/EXP Gauge Script and other add-ons to the RTAB all by Cogwheel. Do you know of any line I can add to get the cursor on top no matter what? Or do you know what determines the priority of these objects?
Leon 55 Report post Posted January 23, 2009 It deals with the 3 arrow classes.
Bahamut 0 Report post Posted January 23, 2009 It deals with the 3 arrow classes. Can you be more specific? EDIT: I know what you mean now. And I have tested the RTAB with a new project and still does the same. So the problem IS with the RTAB. You say it doesn't happen to you? Can you get me a copy of your RTAB version? Bahamut 0 Report post Posted January 25, 2009 Anyone has a version of the RTAB script that doesn't have this error? Oh, and bump!
