[GM]Started Game Maker! Making a Game.

Recommended Posts

Yay first to post in this section! Lol

Any who, I finally got Game Maker 7 Pro and will be working on a huge project in it. It is a side scroller much like this game seen here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SE6hET69w3U I will not be making the game exactly like that cause that would be silly of me! Instead I will add my own features etc, only some of those things you see in that game will be in it. I have already got a graphic designer for levels and object sprites and a scripter for game maker! I am learning to script in it myself as well since GML or Game Maker Language is simple! If you want to help I do need a Spriter for several things like sprites themselves and weapons and stuff! Also I will need a composer for sound effects, and music! This game is already pretty far in the making, well as far as the engine for the side scrolling features like seen in the game above has been made, minus aspects of the battle system and a few other features. I will post more info on the game in the game projects section when the game has been started officially! If you would like to help just Pm me or post here! Credit is given! Below are all the people in the project already and what were looking for!

Project Leader: RMXPirate

Main Coder: Kake_Fisk

Coders: RMXPirate and Formless (Could use some more so we can have a coder there at all times)

Level Designer: Formless

Music: Formless

Coders: (Could use some more so we can have a coder there at all times)

Spriter(RMXP Style kind of, etc): Looking for some

Graphic Designer(HUD, Menus, Misc.): Looking for some for those things listed.

Thanks,

RMXPirate

It is pretty easy to learn actually!! I just started myself and already am a bit good at it! GML(Game Maker Language) is pretty simple to learn as well! What will you be willing to help with in it??

Alo a note to anyone reading this, the engine is about 90 percent done all we need is the battle system and were ready to make the game in full!! Formless is making some tunes (lol tunes) now for the levels and boss fights and there coming out awesome!!

I have never used Game Maker, I might be able to help with Graphic Designer position depending on what you need. I might download it if I have to.

By recently, I mean I just got it today. I have no idea how it works :P, not one bit. But it's fun to have more then one kind of game maker, once you get the hang of them. (XP and VX are easier then Game Maker 7, just saying)
