DS Hombrew DO NOT COME HERE FOR WAREZ (roms)

So first of all, I do not condone the use of illegally downloading and using DS/GBA roms on DSs. I do not do this myself as I back up my DS/GBA games directly from Console-->PC and only use them for myself...and the dog in my avatar.

 

 

ANYWAYS, Yesterday I ordered an Acekard 2.1 (yes, with a k) and was waaandering if anyone else here has heard of home-brewing and DS flashkarts (yes with a k). What is it for? You can put on home-brew applications and games made by people on the net for use on DS. Such apps include but not limited to: paint applications, web browsers, media players, text readers, NES emulators (if you own the games, no warez!!) and DS/GBA back-ups. I say back-ups, but it is easy to steal DS games and play them, but most communities don't tolerate this (like GBAtemp). So does anyone have an Acekard or R4 or any type of flashkart? Do you think the idea of homebrew for DS is cool? Do you think that home-brew illegal or not is wrong?

 

 

 

 

P.S Warez is the www word for bootlegged stuff, i.e illegally procured movies, games, music etc.

Don't know if its illegal but i don't think its wrong. I say hey I bought it I rightfully own it so i can do whatever i want with it. Except mod it and sell it. Selling is a big NO! NO!. Even if you make copies of your games thats bad. Only good if you keep it to your self.

 

All together i say its not bad as long you don't give it away or sell it or download roms.

Actually no, the only Flashkart that damages the DS is the R4. I recommend the CyloDS to you, Joey.
