This is a pretty old question that has troubled man ever since he first looked up the stars.

The universe is a VERY big place, who's to say? Although, the Earth is a perfect distance from the Sun.

If it were any closer,we'd burn, and any farther away,we'd freeze. However,no one knows just how big the universe is. There is a good chance that some where out there, there's a planet that's also a perfect distance from a sun. Any thoughts?

This is easy to answer. There is life on other planets, but we don't have the technology to contact them, we aren't really that advanced with machines so we can't do much when it comes to communicating with creatures in outer space, and do we really want to contact the aliens? What if we do contact any extraterrestrials and they make us their slaves, or they eat us like we eat chicken? (yum, chicken :P) Or what if they mistake our "hello, we come in peace" as a declaration of war? (Since we don't know any alien languages, we can screw up easily with the verbal communucation right? Unless they have a translator but that's a whole different story) So the answer is yes there is life out there, somewhere out there, but where and when will earthlings meet any or all extraterrestrials, who knows, who really does know?

Well it is true we have managed to learn most of the language on this planet (ok, a few mis-translated events have happened here and there, but hey, we all make mistakes and learn from them. A fact of life.) except for some languages that are now dead, like any ancient languages.

No one can call them for 2 reasons.

Reason 1: No one knows their number :P

Reason 2: Think on how big the phone bill could be if you tried to call them

Worst case you might just get their answering machine. Actually, I can see that happening.

This made me lol so hard.

And yeah, there is something out there. Whether or not it will like us or not, is a whole different story. Maybe if we don't..eh, I don't know, declare war on them for their huge oil deposits (*Cough* America *Cough*) then we'd be ok.

And yes, I'm an American, and a Texan on top of that. if you don't get it, don't worry.

I'm saying yes too...the universe is like the inside of Kirby's stomach or something. lol

I bet they're out there....spying on us...plotting their invasion...>_> WHAT WAS THAT?! Oh, never mind...just a plane.

EDIT: ...Why did I vote yes? lol

Actually you never know. We could be in somethings stomach just floating around. Think of cells inside out body. we could be just like them. Not aware of the things beyond us.

that reminds me of those men in black movies. how they both ended. one was of our universe being in a marble, and the other was our universe being in a locker at a giant alien subway.

But then wouldn't there have to be an end to space? Unless this is Kirby's stomach we're talking about....OMG KIRBY'S REAL!!! lol

We never found an end yet. We haven't been that far out there. Everything has an end somewhere. So it might be.

Or would it be like the Futurama game, it would look like a corner of a room with a planet in the corner of the universe.

As long as the life on the other planets didnt die already. And ouch Leon, no life on this planet. Well, technically that's coming true if we don't fix some problems. Like the green house effect, the lack of gasoline (think about it, no more police cars, fire trucks, or ambulances. And planes) World War 3 (you all know it's coming eventually) the advance population of humans on this planet, need I go on or shall I spare you all the nightmares?

We are already in WW3... Americans and everyone that isn't a weird looking arabian freak with a funny accent vs. weird looking arabian freaks with funny accents.

And there might be alien bacteria in Europa, because as far as we know that thing is full of water, so bacteria could live in it, and bacteria is life, right? So yeah, thats my two cents. Our goal on life is to get to heaven, so we aren't supposed to be looking for other life, just taking care of our own.

And for the record, "Global Warming" used to be a money making machine hoax, but now that Arky farted, its melting the ice caps or whatever it is that those idiots say...

I think there's life out there. We just haven't meet them yet. And if there's life outhere, they are surerly both smarter and better then us.

I say there is life out there. How could we be alone in this universe? Hell, for all we know this ain't the only universe. Yes, I know if there was more then one it'd have to be renamed to something like biuniverse or something. But I still feel there is more then one as we assume.
