Two girls I knew from high school died.

Recommended Posts

I read the paper today and saw their pictures at the bottom of the front page.

Local teens die in car crash was the headline. I had heard about it on the news the night before, but I didn't recognize their names.

'Course I never can recognize a person's name. Like this girl who died of an asthma attack, her last name was like Kill-gore or Kill-more,I'm thinking oh my God,with a last name like that, how could I not remember her?

I'm a photo-identifier,I don't remember names,just faces.

I was the shy-awkward nerd guy in high school,so I never really talked to either of them.

I know what road they died on though.

It was that stupid intersection where the left and right lanes merge into one,

and there's this damn tree right in the middle,so the people in the left lane can't see the right lane people at all.

All there is to stop them is a stupid yield sign which you know no one actually yields at a yield sign!

Wow, that is really sad. Those poor girls, and their families! I'm going to pray for them I guess. (I'm catholic, and if you don't like it, tough -_- )

It's sad, so many car crashes happen because some freak wants to "be there first". I wonder if it was the girls' driving that got them killed or somebody else that was drunk.

Don't get yourself killed Jesse.

I don't let my girlfriend go in any other cars but mine, not because I don't think she is loyal to me, but because I don't trust other peoples' driving.

Same here, I remember faces better then names. But death brings misery everywhere and takes lives from this world to the next. It is mostly sad in the end.

I'm sorry to hear about that.

During my time at highschool, two students that I knew died. One girl was killed by a horse who was my best friends ex-girlfriend and we use to see her a lot, and the other one was a girl in my PE class who died of a cancer that year. Other students died also while i was there, but not in my year. I suppose its a lot because my school only had 1200 students.

It has a big effect on you, and its so sad. I drive usually more than an hour a day, and the road statistics are concerning. Just the other day a tractor going really slow on a motorway suddenly changed lanes in front of me and i had to break and change lanes to avoid a crash. If there was a car in the lane next to me, there may have been a crash. And my brother was with me, so its really serious. It almost feels like a lottery. Someone always gets the lottery... someone is always going to die. Its a cruel reality.

Of course, everyone dies eventually, you,me,and yes even your cat.

It's seems cruel, but no one should really fear death.

Death is as natural as the period at the end of this sentence.

The dead are mourned, buried, and eventually forgotten with the passing of time.

These might actually be song lyrics from somewhere...lol

Though,I was shocked that it was those two girls, I sat near them in English class almost every day.

Sorry to hear this. It's always sad when someone dies. Unfortunately I've had to watch many people die. Some in front of me others around the way. One of my best friends got killed in a gang fight, but he saved my life. I will never forget it to this day.

G-Gang fight...?? Wow the closest we get to a gang fight around here are a bunch of drunken red-necks on trackers throwing empty beer cars at each other. With their "Get r dun" license plates.

ROFL that made me laugh lol. I know that feeling to. I've lived in Texas.

Though Texas isn't all country like some people think. Regardless of what some narrow-minded people think. There are hoods and gangs and etc. in Texas. That's where my friend died.

I know Texas has a lot of Mexican gangs, considering it's right along the border to Mexico.

Mexicans, Bloods, Crips, you name it, it's all there. I hate when I say I lived in TX and the first thing people thing is "hillbilly, redneck, etc." I'm like you know there are blacks, whites, mexicans, asians, and any other race you can think of in TX to.

Well this is getting off-topic.

Wish luck to both them girl's families.
