Tomo2000 60 Report post Posted April 17, 2009 I noticed that when you are playing an RPG Maker XP game, when you hold control your character runs through everything. Marked 197 Report post Posted April 17, 2009 When the game is run in debug mode(clicking Playtest in RMXP) then you can hold down ctrl and it does this: When playtesting, hold this key down while moving to disable random encounters and travel through impassible tiles. When you played games, you would have have opened the .exe file to play the game, and this would have no effect. So its a built-in testing feature.
