Joey 9 Report post Posted April 20, 2009 I made a blog on Myspace to tell my friends (yes they're my real friends, most of them anyways, lol) what's up with my arm/wrist. Then I decided to tell you guys too since it's, well, interesting, lol. But I'm too lazy to type this all out again, so I'll just copy and paste it from my blog and edit it a tad bit. :P I didn't know how to explain all this stuff myself, but my mom knew how so I just told her to Email what happened to me, lol. ------------------------- You'd expect this to be something about video games or my RPG huh? Or Eureka?...Well it's not, anyhoo. Yeah, had to get info from my mom cuz I have no idea about that stuff...so anyways, let's see here. My mom said that it was most likely carpal tunnel from video games, I said it was probably from me pulling a mussel or breaking a blood vessel from lifting something heavy, and my uncle said it was probably from me looking at porn sites...(lol don't ask, he was joking anyways....I hope >_>) Funny how we were all wrong (uncle included >_>), my mom took me to the doctor since she had a day off last Thursday....and apparently this bone in my left arm called the...uh...*looks at Email*...ulna bone (what a weird name) is longer than its supposed to be. Because of this is, its causing...er....*looks at the email again*...Yeah, it's causing inflammation with the meniscus (another weird name) bone in my wrist...so uh...yeah...here's a fancy pic that she gave me. (oooh, pretty) ANYways to deal with this, I have to wear this stupid splint...cast-looking thingy. It won't let me move my wrist, I have to wear it almost all the time, its uncomfortable, and I'm blaming all of this on Saramarie (my little sister), lol. Oh yea, and I'm also having to take this medicine that should heal this...Duno what its called but whatever, I have to wear this for about 3 weeks and then we'll see if it worked or not. Dunno what's gonna happen then...Anyways I thought I'd post this since it was interesting... I always thought that a meniscus occurs when the tension of liquid makes a reading off a test tube or something seem higher than what it really is. I too have bone issues. I broke my leg playing rugby and the doctors tried to force my bones back in place, and it occasionally aches when I have to keep my car at a constant speed because thats when the foot is slightly past the point where its relaxed so it aches a bit.
