[Resolved] RE Shooting System Script

Question

Im having a dit of trouble with the RE Shooting System. It can be located th this URL.

I'm trying to make my own weapon. I've created everything I have to (Weapon Images (yes. Icon and the Menu object), the shooting person image, and edited the commons events.) Everything works fine until im near a zombie and shoot. Then it pops up with Error in line Bullet_1, line 116 or something of the sort.

 

Help would be greatly appreciated.

Can you post the project up. But by the sounds of it you might not have ammo set for it or something. I need a closer look to get whats going on.

You were right. I forgot the ammo. Im just quickly making the edits as I post. Nup. Still doesn't work. Still comes up with the same error: Script 'Game_Bullet1' line 117: TypeError occurred. nil can't be coerced into Fixnum. Ok, download my project here:

You go to the new (blue) shotgun to the left (right gives you a large colaberation of weapons). Then equipt it (if you can make the black become transparent, it would be greatly appreciated), then when a zombie is in front of you, hold shift and press space and the error will pop up.

Did you create a charset of the person with the gun?

Notice that the demo for that script comes with a character named Ark. Their is also ark_knife ark_hangun, etc. To equip that new weapon you've made, you gotta make a charset of the person with that gun. But since its a shotgun you could just make a copy of the Ark_Shotgun and rename it too whatever the name of the weapons is ex) (Ark)_(Weapon name). *Ark is the name of the charset, *Weapon name is the name of the weapon. I'll look into this some more for you.

Yeah, I know. Although I've already fixed that problem. This topic should be closed. Also, check the date of the topic before posting. This topic is over a year old now.
