Ok people, I start out by saying I'm white. What I'm going to say, will probably piss off some people, but I don't care right now, cause I'm tired of this bullshit happening.

 

Question: How many white people do you hear saying "It's because I'm white, isn't it?", yet how many blacks do you hear saying "It's because I'm black."

 

No it's not because you're fucking black, its because your fucking ass broke the goddamn fucking law. If I see your ass doing something wrong, I don't give a damn if you're blue, green, gray, mexican, korean, chinese, or fucking red as roses, I'm gonna call your ass on it, so don't pull that lame ass racism card. It's not a fucking get out of jail free card, and you just make racism that much bigger because you get offended so fucking easily.

Yeah, the percentage of minorities failing is pretty horrible. Even with affirmative action programs covering Universities and jobs, it's still in bad shape. Especially since they have really turned into "quota systems" that colleges and Employers think they must fill in order to not look bad.

Oh, and as far as the whole "street slang" goes, it sure has changed how intellectuals look at type of language. Hell, there is even an "African American English" comprised of some of that slang that seems to be indecipherable from an outward perspective. I doubt its something that is gonna change, or -can- even change.

 

So, here's my two cents - Don't gotta accept what's going on this crazy world, so long as you acknowledge that it's happening, it's all good.

formlesstree, there are definitely racist elements in your post. There is no doubt about it. I'm deciding whether or not to close this topic to avoid offending people. I'm offended. There are black people on this forum, and one of them was a staff member.

 

Why would you label your topic racism when you are claiming it is not racist? The fact is, every characteristic that you named such as gangs and reaction to racism happen within all races. Have you heard of white power? Even my country of 4million has that kind of gang. Actually we have both white power and black power gangs.

 

Some minorities in all countries live in poverty and do not have supporting families. We all have equal ability to succeed academically, epically within secondary schools. Perhaps formlesstree, if you lived in one of the families I am referring to(no offense to your family what so ever), you would be failing also. I certainly would be. Although I do acknowledge there is a large difference in passing rates or academic success within some cultures or minorities.

I'm not sure what it's called in Europe,but for me it was Junior High,or Middle School(Grades 6,7,and 8).

I was home schooled from 7th grade to 8th grade. Then we moved,after we heard there was a gang fight just up the street from where we lived. We moved to a rural,mostly white community.

In 9th grade,I tried actual high school. I learned something,white kids are just as mean as black kids.

White kids form their own gangs,their called Clicks and Sororities,and foot ball teams,they're more annoying than dangerous,though.(Side note: Bullets are easier to dig out of trees,than toilet paper.)

And they bribed the coach to look away while they do drugs/smoke and play cards in Gym class. I was home schooled from grade 10 through graduation.

 

Also,another observation,White kids lie more than Black kids do. This is not racism,it is an On-site,observation.

You walk in with an ugly shirt on,the black kid would say,"Yo,that's ugly shirt,dawg."

The white kid,on the other hand,would say,with an honest face,"hey,I like your shirt," while they quietly snicker behind you,and write "Fag" on your back when you're not looking.

When I was referring to primary school I was referring to those grades also. Some primary schools go up to grade 8, and some stop and 6 where they go to an intermediate, your equivalent of middle school or junior high. For me, I went from primary school to highschool. All our ethnic groups got on just fine. We often settled our differences on the rugby field at lunchtime :D good times.

Here's a story about them from a town a spent my highschool days in: I don't think they were exactly white supremacists, but people just referred to them as skinheads. Anyway, these skinheads used to live in my town(before I was there) and they used to cause so much trouble, and everyone was annoyed by them. For those who know nothing about New Zealand, rugby is our most popular sport and there are clubs in almost every town. Anyway, one of the local rugby teams was sick and tired of all the skinheads that invaded the town. So they called up the Police and told them they were going around to sort out the skinheads. The Police replied: "Don't kill anyone, and we'll take the long way there". And that was the end of the skinheads.

That kind of thing is completely unheard of here. The kids do drugs though, but if they get caught then they're stood down.

 

Damn i hated the kids who did nothing in gym class or PE as we call it. I think if it wasn't for PE I may not have it through highschool, it was seriously the greatest time at school ever. Especially field games. Anyone played touch rugby? Greatest game ever.

 

Also guns in schools is pretty unheard of as well, possibly because only hunters really have guns. There arn't many guns here.... but there are the occasional knife threats on teachers from the really disturbed kids. But you know, I grew up in a really great place.
