Cat died...

Recommended Posts

Time of Death: 2:30 AM.

She is the third cat of mine to die in my presence. Sylvia died of leukemia(age:19),Vash died of kidney failure(age:2),and this cat,Mandy(age:18),died of a tumor in her stomach.

Cat's make the most horrible yowling sound, when the die.

It was awful.. "Roooowwl Rooowwl Roowwl..." She was squirming and squirming, and then...nothing.

Though...she didn't void her bowels...both my other cats voided their bowels. Course that tumor in her stomach might be why..

The whole day she was in a coma-like state, barely even twitching;she'd wag her tail some.

I figured the cancer might've spread to her brain, paralyzing her.

Oddly enough,my other cat still hisses at her body, even though she's dead.

Sorry to hear Jesse. Hope you're okay.

The bathroom smells like death, and i can't sleep for anything. Something about her being in the other room....Just...rotting..Have to wait until dawn to bury her, though.

Do cats always die at night?

All my cats seem to die at night.,well except Eric(age:4),who was hit by car,

and his brother Aaron(age:17),he was put to sleep by the vet, when he got really sick, and they said,"He's not going to make it,we put him to sleep no charge,if you want."

Sorry to hear that.....

Do cats always die at night?

My 4 year old cat died somewhere close to midnight :( (died of a tumor), so maybe they do die at night. He also died in my room.

Oddly enough,my other cat still hisses at her body, even though she's dead.

I brought his older brother into the room he was in a minute after he died, he ran away fast from the room his younger brother was in. I guess he didn't want to know what happened :(

I got another cat after he died, she was called May, but she didn't last long (only a week I believe :(). Then I got a kitten, June, very energetic, then, umm..... death (sad, only a few months old and I didn't have her for long). Then a third neko (neko = cat), Julie (or was it July?) not very energetic, liked to sleep, I forgot how she died (she was about the same age as June). May, June and Julie died in the same month :(

At least you were with her up to her final moments here on earth. Treasure the memories you had with her, and never forget the time you had with her. The wonderful times, the sad times....... Let her spirit live on, in your memories and in your soul. Continue on with life knowing she is in a better place........

o.o... *confiscates Nisage's cats* Three in one month...!? Are they outdoor cats? My cats are all indoors.

The outside is too dangerous for them,we learned that after Eric was hit by a car,and my sister's cat,Cutiehoney, drank antifreeze. With all the cats inside, our average cat life span increased to 17 years easy.

With exception of Vash who had kidney failure.

*Unconfiscates my cats* They were all indoor cats. I got a fourth cat after those three, she's still alive (I couldn't take a fourth one dying in the same month). The ones I still have all are indoor cats..... Ok, one was a stray and can technically be called an "outside" cat, but she loves the inside now, and she likes potatoe chips as well (what, is it weird for a cat to eat potatoe chips?)

Edit: Before I forget, what's antifreeze?

Anti-Freeze is a liquid you pour in a car during cold weather to prevent the engine from freezing.

However,it is LETHAL to cats! It tastes really good to them and it has a sweet smell,so they would drink it in a second, but it will kill them in less than a week. It slowly destroys their immune system, makes them go blind, and deaf, and lose control of their bladder and bowels, full body paralysis! They start vomiting blood and die.

Also, keep the chips away from the cat, she'll get diabetes like mom's cat Suzy.

Mom used to feed Suzy table scaps, then Suzy got really fat and diabetic,so mom changed her diet, this is what really killed Suzy. NEVER change a cat's diet. You start buying 9 lives and Friskey's,then switch to some cheap generic crap, they could get really sick. Stick with the same brand of cat food, always.

Ah, ok. I'll have to make sure none of mine drink that stuff. She eats the 9 Lives dry food, she eat the canned cat food much (while the other 3 love the cans, not so much for dry food :P). Well........ Ok yeah she's 15 pounds, so maybe I should try to make her lose some weight (question is how). But she seems healthy to me.

Just don't feed her people food. The cat knows when she's hungry,I use a plastic feeder,it's like a vertical tube attached to a bowl, and the dry food falls into the bowl as the bowl is emptied.
