Help regarding "actor" graphics

I want to put pictures from online in my rpg as the "actors" but when i do it always has like a white square behind them so when im fighting someone instead of having a transparent background, theres a big white square...

 

how can i get it so that the white square isnt there?

Make sure the background is all one color,plus with you import the image right-click the back ground and left click any parts you want semi-transparent,or just the background,too.

Remember,there are over 40 identical shades of white. Use "Paint Fill" to check to see if the background is

all the same color.

So the background can be any color?

and where do i right click the picture? like during what program (paint?)

The background can be any color, but you don't want them to be any color that you've used in the battler, which is why you sometimes find them in vivid shades of green or pink.

 

You left-click the background from the resource manager, when you import the image into your game. (In RMXP, it's the "Materialbase," or F10.)

When you import it, left click on the white part and right click where shadows or semi trancparencies are. You only have to click once.
