Controlling sleep

I was talking with my girlfriend and she suggested I go to bed now instead of forcing myself to stay awake another day and wait to sleep till midnight tomorrow. whats your opinion on this?

I've done both many times before. The one that worked more was the go to bed early. The "forcing yourself to stay awake another day and wait to sleep till midnight tomorrow" only works if you can actually stay awake, I did it while playing video games. Time flew by so fast :P Then again I did try the "Forcing yourself....." last night, went to bed at 1 something A.M., and woke up at 7:12 A.M. But try the going to bed, instead of forcing yourself.

I sometimes go to sleep for an hour and use an alarm clock to wake up. Then it's easier to stay up until bed time.

Yeah thats what I do, and it seems to work. I wake up at 5:00 A.M and stay in bed ti'll 6:00.

i stayed up for 48 hours once, so here'd what i do.

take a COLD shower for about 10-15 minutes, consume some major sugar. (my friend drank coffee with 20 spoonfuls of sugar. in 5 min he was shaking and sooooo hyper)
