Rising Son is like a Biblical play only the people writing the scripts were on crack or something.

I generally have a very high tolerance for shit,but that show is making a mockery of Christianity.

I know Family Guy has funny scenes with God and Jesus,a lot of them were stupid,but some of them would be kind of true. Like when Lois says,"What if Jesus gave up?" and it shows he living in like a trailer,miserable with a bunch of kids running around screaming.

 

I honestly don't consider myself an avid Christian,but I do have a healthy respect for the Lord.

Even if God doesn't smite you for making fun of Him,there are people out there that WILL.

I'm surprised someone out there hasn't left a blood sheep's head in the writer's bed,or something like that.

It's like that guy who got shot for ripping up the Koran on a public street,and scattering the pages to the wind.

Sorry to butt in like this, being my first post and all. However, the United States was not founded by Christians. The idea that it was founded by Christians is a common misconception. So, if you are going to send things, do not put things like that in. As well, when writing a letter do not put your opinion in, as it does not make you look as smart as you could. Also, don't make rhetorical statements, as it makes you look ignorant or rude. Have fun writing.

I did have something to say here about Inuyasha being lame in DUB,and how they repeatedly remind the audience of small facts like Koga's Jewel Shards in his legs,etc.

Adult Swim Anime are cut (sadly :(), like Code Geass. After watching it on Adult Swim and saw an AMV online where the person used the subbed version, there are some differences between the two. Shame they can't show the uncut anime like how Toonami used to (like for Yu Yu Hakussho...... Ok Tonnami did, until they canceled it, then re-aired it as cut. Probably got a couple of complaints from the parents about it, and I can guess which parent it could be)

why don't the parents complain about that rest of the crap on AS. like 20oz mouse,or Aqua Teen Hunger Force.

Those 2 Bit cartoons that probably cost about 50 cents per episode to make.

(Actually I like Aqua Teen Hunger Force) I guess they hate "Japanese cartoon shows" because they're not "educational", "to violent", or "to revealing" (you know, like in Inuyasha, with Miroku and his pervy hand and his famous line "Would you please consider bearing my child") and more along that line. -pretends to vomit- Compared to most of these american shows, I don't care! Besides, Anime is way better then a lot of these american shows. (did I get off topic? Sorry if I did, back to AS) Hopefully AS will show some new anime. Like....... Historys Strongest Disciple Kenichi (or as america calls it "the Mighty Disciple Kenichi") true it's only about 50 episodes, but the only time I watch it is when I'm planning to watch every episode :P What, I like it that much :) They could show in the comercials a messege to all viewers to send AS e-mails/letters on what we would like to watch.

I miss Toonami :( I hope it comes back (stupid american parents complaining what was aired on Toonami) I have a friend that met a 5 year old (or was it 7 year old) kid that watched Shin-chan (which is a rated M Anime) My friend said to the kid "Do your parents know what you're watching?", kid say's "my parents don't care what I watch so long as I don't f*#k no girl and no boy". You know, technically by how the kid said it, if he "does it" with a boy he's allowed to watch the rated M Anime that's on Adult Swim (also, the kid is a boy, incase anyone is wondering). So why was Toonami canceled again? Besauce the parents didn't approve of the shows because they are to "violent"? So they will air shows like, uhh.... Rising Son, (does "the Boondocks" fall under the same category as Rising Son?), which parents will let their kids watch, but not Anime series, (which were already cut and modified to be appropriate do to complaining parents because they were "inappropriate for kids") and they get canceled anyway? Why bother then, huh? Why air a series that has been cut, just so it can be canceled later, like for One Piece, Naruto, MAR, Yu Yu Hakusho, any/all Anime on CN. Is it besauce the shows are from Japan, is that the reason? You only want your kids to watch shows from america and not from another country? :angry: This is why I hate these stupid "adults" in america. I'd say more, but I believe I might overdo it a bit (or just go overboard completely).

First, no Toonami never aired Shin-chan, AS did.

Second, Pokemon is an Anime. Since it's rated All Ages, guess american parents don't care about it. The Japanese version has them swearing a bit.

 

On a side note, Speed Racer and Astro Boy are both Anime.
