<Pokemon Invasion Project> Main Module

This project is a multi-group project for turning all of the pokemon cards into playable Yu-Gi-Oh cards. Our hope is to make cards that people will enjoy just as much as the Pokevolution Project. All types will be fake, however, as we will be using the types of Pokemon from the games themselves. While as Legendaries will be "Legendary" type, Trainers will be "Trainer" type, and Gym Leaders will be "Gym Leader" type. Also, all non legendaries, trainers, and gym leaders will have the "Pokemon" sub-type.

Additional Rules

This is a list of rules that are "added to the rulebook" for this set of cards. This is to cut down each pokemon's effect by about 3/4, as well as make some cards vanillas via the removal of their only effect.

 

Rules for Pokemon Cards

1. Each pokemon has a weakness. As such, when a pokemon gets attacked by a pokemon it is weak against, you must double the attack that pokemon. (list of weaknesses coming soon)

2. Each pokemon has a resistance. As such, when a pokemon gets attacked by a pokemon it is weak against, you must half the attack that pokemon. (list of resistances coming soon)

3. Normal types cannot attack Ghost types, nor can the reverse occur.

Rules for Legendaries

All Legendaries are limited to 1 per deck of each kind (i.e. One Mewtwo, one Mew, one Jirachi, one Uxie, etc).

Rules for Trainers

1. You must include 1 Trainer card in your deck if you have a Pokemon card in your deck.

2. You may only have 1 Trainer card in your deck.

3. Trainer cards are Special Summoned from the deck at the start of the duel, before you even shuffle your decks, and placed on the field card zone.

4. Trainer cards act as field cards as long as they exist on the field card zone and cannot be destroyed. They also negate the activation of all other field cards while acting as field cards.

5. If you tribute 2 monsters from your side of the field, you can change the Trainer card from a field card to a monster card, thus placing the card on the Monster Zone (or whatever it's called).

6. If your Trainer card is destroyed, you lose the duel.

Right thanks! I'll... Join the work tomorrow. I am a Pokemon Fan. I've got Diamond, Pearl and Platinum. (And I think I'll make Giratina, he is my favorite. Or Dialga!)

I'd love to help with this! I've always wanted to do something along these lines but never before had enough time to do it all on my own. I'll be glad to help.

 

I've currently been playing Pokemon Ruby for over 160 hours now, so I'll start helping out with the Hoenn Region.

 

Edit: I've completed the card "Treecko".

You may tribute this monster to Special Summon 1 "Grovyle" from your hand. As long as this card remains face-up on the field, during your opponent's Standby Phase, you may decrease your opponent's Life Points by 100.

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This can only be Special Summoned by the effect of "Treecko". You may tribute this monster to Special Summon 1 "Sceptile" from your hand. As long as this card remains face-up on the field, during your opponent's Standby Phase, you may decrease your opponent's Life Points by 200.

Thanks. I'll probally finish all the rest of the starter Pokemon for the Hoenn Region today.

Interesting. The images for Grovyle and Sceptile, though, might need work...people on the YCM forums hate images with white backgrounds, otherwise I'd say they were fine. ^^"

just add fire, ice, water, earth, grass or w/e in the background to give it more pizazz. (use photoshop)

Depends on how fast we work...I'm burned out and have no ideas left on what to do for any of the Pokemon (I worked on a good amount of them in my mind!). If I can think of any more, though, I'll make them up. And if 2 people work on 2 cards a day each...that's...124 days (according to my calculations). So...depends on the rate of which you guys work on them.

EDIT: Oh, I forgot to say, if anyone sends out cards, make sure I know who to credit the image too. So, I'll post Tomo's cards once I know who to credit for the pictures used.

While I'm here, anyone have any ideas on how to do Rotom? I was thinking of having his normal form, then have the appliances as an spell card...and I'm still trying to figure out what the differences could be for his other form cards...Anyways I've been cleaning out my computer (actual computer) since it was caked with dust. XD And it has been making some annoying buzzing in the fans because of it, I know I know, need to take care of my computer more, lol. Anyways now that its cleaned out, thinking about cleaning it out virtually, maybe it will run better because of it. :P

 

I'll work on Rotom and some others after that, sorry just been somewhat busy before (.........and lazy >_>).

 

Forgot to ask, what do you consider Rotom anyway? I've figured since he has the music that he is a Legendary...

Rotom is generally considered a Legendary, so he would be a Legendary type -nods- As for his forms...maybe do like I did with Deoxys? Make his normal form, then give it the ability to Special Summon his other forms by sacrificing them, while also allowing you to sacrifice those special forms to bring Rotom back from the graveyard? As for individual effects...I dunno... ^^"
