CrimsonInferno 35 Report post Posted July 19, 2009 I like ducks. But...I'm afraid of pegeons cause of a video from my website. If you feed ducks, this may happen. Look! It's horrible! D: The movie with the birds attacking scared me more. Although this was scary. I had ducks and geese attack me before. I was six and it was done by a lake I used to go to all the time. I was throwing some food when they all started toward me, biting and pecking at me. They actual put cuts on me and bruised my fingers and arms!So I ran to my family's van and cowered in the back.... It was scary, I hated them until recently when I got a duck as a pet. I told myself not to be frightened by them. I ended up giving her up because it got to cold and she was lonely by herself. A farmer took her in for me.
rgangsta 43 Report post Posted July 19, 2009 I neva had an encounter with a bird...except for that chicken...she attacked me because I was walking towards her baby. I guess it wasn't her fault, just being protective.

Tomo2000 60 Report post Posted July 23, 2009 I remember at a friends farm there was a group of cows and a goose. The other cows were scared of the goose but the goose stayed near 1 cow all the time, exiling it from the rest of the group. Me, the owners daughter and my sister tried chasing it off but it tried attacking us. We then through sticks at it and it flew off. The other cow seemed happy and merrily waltzed to the other cows. We felt like we had done a good day but the next day it was back... We continued the same routine for the next week and it finally disappeared. I sorta felt sorry for the goose but I saw it walking around in the farm next door the day we were leaving so it looks like next-door is gonna have a new 'friend' :D . Seems to me, that goose was pretty mesmerized by that cow. :P I only feel sorta safe around ducks for right now, still have a hate for the rest of the flying animals -- birds. Enigma 10 Report post Posted July 23, 2009 I like ducks mainly because of Daffy I would guess When I went to a family farm in Nigeria, the chickens and the ducks would fight if they saw one another and then they would both team up on a dog or a goat if one happened to step in ther path. I once saw a chicken herding goats there once O.0.

Marked 197 Report post Posted July 25, 2009 I just don't like pigeons. They poop everywhere. They pooped on my friends' heads back in 8th grade. Hey! I had a pet pigeon once! It was my first pet, about 9 years ago. Me and my brother were in this river and we saw this pigeon who had been shot in the wing. We caught it because it couldn't fly and kept it as a pet while it healed and eventually it was able to fly again. The time came when we had to move away and leave the pigeon behind, and it tried to follow us :( Do you know what's fun? You know how magpies like shiny things? Well what you do is wear a bicycle helmet and run into a field of magpies and they swoop down on you attacking the helmet. I think we did that in 8th grade(the equivalent of). In fact what we did is got the guy we didn't like to do it first. Crack up. This may be off topic, but we owned a lamb once. It was rejected by its mother and we took it in. Lambs > Ducks. Azure Flames 1 Report post Posted July 27, 2009 I have 2 local ponds. >_< At no.1 I was feeding them and I had a bit of bread on my trainer. I screamed when a duck pecked at my shoe for it, lol... No.2. This isn't all ducks, there are encounters with very greedy swans there too. Once all the swans came out of the water and started running after me! I ran away and they went back into the water, lucky me, lol!
