tsunamistudios 0 Report post Posted July 6, 2009 Hello! My name is Dereck! I am the President (or C.E.O) of Tsunami, a soon to be official world-wide game company! (In 11 years old, give me a break, I'm just 11, but I am mature for 11.) I have been using RMXP for about 4 months? Anyway, I'm looking for team members! If your interested email/pm me! The current project is called Solariia. (BTW If your wondering, I'm in 7th grade). Please don't post worthless things like"Your too young", or "Get the fuckin hell outta this site bitch" or stuff like that. I work hard to make my game. solshadow 0 Report post Posted July 6, 2009 Well let me be the first to say welcome. Mind posting anything about your game? That will help you recruit team members :D
tsunamistudios 0 Report post Posted July 6, 2009 Well I got the basic story line going for the prologue. It starts off like this: Your in a Church, you see a priest chanting a bunch of words and circling 5 babies. Each baby is wrapped in a colored blanket. In the upper left, the baby is wrapped in green In the botton left: blue At the top right: red At the bottom right gray/white In the middle: The baby is wrapped in black/gray The next thing that happens is that the whole screen goes blakc, and a devil appears laughing. The screen goes back to normal, and the ritual continues, 17 years later you awaken with the spirit element insignia on your neck. That's just for the Prologue. solshadow 0 Report post Posted July 6, 2009 Im assuming the player is the one baby wrapped in black/gray? Sorry to be a bother but whats the main storyline?
tsunamistudios 0 Report post Posted July 7, 2009 No, that's just the Prologue. I;m still working on the Main Story. And the One in the Black/Gray is the Main Character.

Tomo2000 60 Report post Posted July 11, 2009 Welcome to the forum, Tsunami. I agree with SolShadow; you need a storyline and general character ideas to make the storyline happen. I suggest you also look at some other games to get some ideas. I don't mean to be a party pooper, but there are some problems with your "Tsunami Studios" idea: -You are 11 years old, so how do you expect to make your company world-wide? -Rpg Maker XP isn't the game-creating device that people would actually buy games made on it. Specially now-days with games such as Fallout 3 and other high-graphics games. I know you said not to say stuff like "Your too old", but I was like you, also, 5 years ago when I was 11. I'll help with your game, but if you wish to create games that will sell; I suggest you search for programs like: http://www.abyssalengine.com/ <-- The Abyssal Engine; Oblivion-Style professional system. and/or http://www.fpscreator.com/ <-- FPS Creator; as the name suggests, a FPS creating engine. Some tools like this are expensive, but Nothing ventured, Nothing gained. I use FPS Creator at the moment and it is pretty awesome. I suggest buying it now because they are selling the engine, a tutorial course and 8 model packs (allows you to add stuff to your games such as enemies, weapons and more to your game) of your choice for only $30. And at the age of 11 is also gives you a large opportunity to get the hang of things. I hope you understand that I am not trying to be mean but am trying to help you. solshadow 0 Report post Posted July 11, 2009 I use FPS Creator at the moment and it is pretty awesome. How is it? I used it for a game creation club I started at school and was disappointed since the game would lag horribly if too many enemies were on the same map and if i made maps too big. The few game ideas I had for fps's just kinda had to be put on hold. I guess I said all that to say, if you ever need ideas for an fps I got a few lol
Tomo2000 60 Report post Posted July 11, 2009 FPS Creator isn't designed for school computers but is designed for developer's computers; the ones with good graphics cards and DirectX 10 and a good ammount of Ram. I get a little bit of lag but you really need a good graphics card more than anything when it comes to that. Also another good system made by the same people is called Realm Crafter. This allows you to create your own MMORPG games. Just type "Realm Crafter" into google for more information. I'm hopefully going to get it soon.
