Broken Messiah

Death of Emperor Lelouch vi Britannia?

Recommended Posts

Anyone who cared about Code Geass, knows that in the end Lelouch was killed by Suzaku posing as Zero. This was Lelouch's plan too. BUT didn't Suzaku get killed by Kallen? And if the world of then had technolgy to change the apearance of other people that maybe the dead Lelouch was a body double? I want to hear your thoughts.

I think if they actually had that kind of technology then wouldn't they have doubles of the royal family for protection? If so, then Clovis probably would still be alive, as well as Yuffie....Marianne.......Charles...hell, maybe even Shirley (don't quote me on that...).

Also, Lelouch used his geass on Suzaku, telling him to live. As far as I know, geass cannot be broken (exceptions are Orange-boy's geass canceler, and potentially only through a contractor's aid (Lelouch broke the Emperor's order.), and Nunnaly is able to break it with willpower.). But then again....Lelouch tried the same thing with Shirley but it didn't work....I really don't know how Suzaku was able to get out of that mess.....but he did.

If you understand some of the geass rules and lore or whatever you call it, something is said (I'm just doing this from memory and it's hard..) that geass only appears in one eye when the person first obtains it. If the user loses control of it, the Geass will eventually grow until it shows on both eyes. Around this point, the person who gave the Geass will grant the user his or her 'Code', thus removing the Geass and making the user an Immortal and immune to all Geass, and the person who gave them the Geass usually dies after granting a person his or her 'Code.' Charles thought took V2's code without permission, so he now has this 'code'. A moment before Lelouch kills Charles, Lelouch gains geass in both eyes. Lelouch has both eyes full of geass....Charles has a 'code'....Lelouch kills him.....therefore, Lelouch is now both invulnerable to death and geass.

So maybe Lelouch's had other secret objectives to his plan. Maybe he would let Suzaku kill him, and somehow, his body would be taken to a secret place where he would wake up (there's probably a delay between the time when he died and when he'll revive..(Or, after they bury him, Suzaku would then proceed to dig him up, just like in the movie "Let's Go to Prison".))and then he'll run away somewhere and live another life.

This is just theory though, and I guess many would think of it as fanbased......Lelouch might be dead, maybe not.......

You strike a good point, but body doubles weren't used until the second season. I'm personally confused on how Suzaku lived after the battle between him and Kallen(I'm going to watch the episode tonight to refresh my memory) I believe that Lelouch decided to live in order to insure that peace remained in the world. I believed that the dead lelouch was immortal C.C who somehow was able to alter her appearance like that of the ninja-maid woman whose name escapes me.

However in the end, all this doesn't matter. Its up to the people who make Code Geass on the fate of Lelouch :(

Oohhh, I thought you meant like cloning machines or something for that..lol...

Oh well....my statements still stand.

At least this theory is more likely to prove true than those other theories stating that Light is still alive......Ryuk wrote his name in the death note in the manga and in the anime, that's it...if a Life Note existed, then we would have problems....or maybe the Death Eraser that was in the pilot chapter...

.............I hate Rolo.

I didn't know of such a theory, but in my opinion i believe light is dead. however i believe that the notebook would end up tempting the goverment to using it, and somehow fall into public hands, creating a new light.

Oh and what is a Death Eraser?

Well, according to the manga, after Light died, Near destroyed all the Death Notes in the human world (excluding Ryuk's..)

The Death Eraser was used in the pilot issue of DN. Ryuk states that if you use it to erase a name from the Death Note, that person would come back to life.

I'll have to watch the episode. Unlock code geass, deathnote is open for another season.

Okay i watch the first episode of DN, and this may be a coincidence, but the person Light first killed was holding hostages in Shinjiku, and Lelouch gained and used his geass in Shinjiku.

Japan is pretty small, and Shinjiku is one of the most populated citys.
