teengamer 0 Report post Posted July 21, 2009 I have publish a very small demo for a game I'm making in XP, but everyone says they cannot run it becuase of a RGSS102a.dll file error. I have told them to install it to their game folder and they have also installed the RTP. Why isn't it working? EDIT: They are also getting a RGSS102E.dll error! EDIT 2: The person who has RMXP is running it fine, until he reformatted his computer and lost RMXP, and could no longer play the game. LovePhoenix 3 Report post Posted July 21, 2009 This is because you use an older version of RMXP while they have the latest RTP. The only solution is that if they have RMXP, they create a new project, then copy the Graphics, Data and Audio folders, pasting them in the new project then running it. That should do the trick. rgangsta 43 Report post Posted July 21, 2009 so re-release your game, buddy. I want to play it too. What's it called?
Polraudio 122 Report post Posted July 21, 2009 It should work if they have RTP. But... Try searching your computer for the file. It should be in your windows folder somewhere. Remember to turn it on so it will search for hidden files also. Theres a %99.99999 chance on finding it. Once you find the file put it in your game folder. I had originally encrypted it and everything, but I'll just copy the game folder. UPDATED ERROR!

Polraudio 122 Report post Posted July 26, 2009 Try searching your computer for them files. If you have the RTP installed you have them files. Once you find the files throw them into your game folder.

LovePhoenix 3 Report post Posted July 26, 2009 Okay, few questions. Which version of RPG Maker XP do YOU use? Are you sure it's 102E.dll, too? Which version of RTP do they have?
