Oh, trust me, your gonna have to kill or be killed at the Military Base 1. Trust me; it will come to you as a shock. You also get a shotgun at the Military Base 1, so look through the Level Walkthrough for it and it shows you where it is. It is sorta camoflauged so good luck.

I still can't get passed Ashaven (I'm not good at horror games. I always panic.). But I'm trying. >:D

There's an error eveytime the game ends.

Also, if you use Mode7 for this game, it would be awesome. Just a suggestion though.

Yeahh! I killed all of them in the begginnning of Ashaven. I can't find the keycard though. Found it. With your tutorial, of course. I beat the whole game. WOOT! I thought that big guy was going to squash me. This game is awesome. Only two suggestions. The game over problem and can you heal me when I end the day? I'm looking forward to playing the full version.

I'm not too sure how to fix the game over glitch but it is a good idea to heal the character each time the day ends. I'll fix it ASAP.

Actually, the script error isn't a big deal because I always save when I get to the raft. So when I die, I already saved the game (I'm a save freak).

I'm not too much of a save freak because I'll save, play a heap, forget to save, leave it and the battery runs out (DS, GameBoy, etc.).

I am very happy to say that, after 3 months of nothing, I am back to work. Most of the work was paused because of many script errors but I fixed it so now I should have the next release in a few days; Military Base 2.

 

Because of the new layout of the forum and the removal of spoilers I've had to remove the Walkthrough and Easter Eggs section. I will make a walkthrough in a Miscrosoft Word file [after a few more releases] but not with the Easter Eggs.

 

The Military Base 2 (spoilers :D ) will have a shop (strickly Mixable Herbs), a "Mixing Herbs Class" which will teach you how to combine these herbs for different uses (there are a total of 6 mixed herbs and 3 regular herbs. The regular herbs, once combined, will make the mixed herbs. You will learn how to make 3/6 of these). Should be out in a few days.

I can't wait to play the newest demo! I wish I had as much ambition to work on a game. I can never find enough time to sit down and write a stroryline... :(

Do you think you could release the walkthrough in a notepad file along with the Microsoft file? For some reason, I can't use Microsoft Word :(

I prefer Notepad because I only have Microsoft Word 2007 which is hard to use. Ok, why not? As you may have heard, Mao, I've fixed a ton of glitches including how it shows the number when you save/load a file and the 'First Aid Spray' glitch, also.

get " OpenOffice.org" (thats the actual name of the program, with the .org lol) its the best document program, and it can export any of its materials in ANY text format.

I must admit the the newest version, v5, has its share of glitches. There have been a lot like the "Die Glitch", the "Box in Fence" glitch and a lot of others. I'd like to say that an improved version of v5 will be uploaded in a few hours that have gotten rid of these glitches and maximize gameplay. I'd like to thank Kiriashi for improving the maps of the new version and everyone who has downloaded and commented this topic.

Hope Afloat v5, the improved version, features everything v5 has. Hope Afloat v5 includes 2 new locations, Military Base 2 and Amiira, a new weapon, another continent, a new zombie type and a lot more. Hope Afloat v5 takes you into the heart of its storyline; Samantha. Samantha, also called Sam in the game, is the only survivor of Amiira; even after the military attempted to retake the city... It resulted in failure.

 

After you rescue her, Sam will give you tips on what to expect upon entering a new location.

After 3 months of long and hard work, Engora, the next town of the 2nd Continent, is now available to play. This is by far the biggest release so far, as you can get 2 new weapons, get some easy cash, do some extra-missions, buy a different car; a heap of new things. Enjoy. Also, I am happy to say that I have cut the size of the game by, not half, but to 1/3 of it's original size.

Hope Afloat v8 is finally ready. No new weapons, but a Boss Battle available from the new mission "Jenkins Jepardy" available from Grey in Engora. You'll need to be prepared for this battle, a shotgun won't do it, you'll want M4A1's and Magnum's. The M4A1 Carbine is $800 at Military Base 2, and the Magnum is founf in the lab at Engora.

 

Jenkins is now also available, there are 3 different zones of Jenkins; a pitch black city where you will do a fuel-run and collect 3 canisters of fuel, a creepy sewer and a murky swamp. Prepare to fight like you've never fought before; Jenkins features a new infected, the Prowler. Slow, stealthy and can deal a LOT of damage, so be warned.
