I'm pretty sure you guys are familiar with Prince of Persia. Well, in my game I want to make that sort of gameplay. I made events for a wall run, wall hang, and ledge hang. The only probem is that when I want to get off the specific tile, it won't work. I was using Requiem ABS v8.1 and I thought that maybe the conditional branches were contridicting with it. But it's not. To make things more clear, I'll post pictures at the bottom. Oh, and the events are "Below Characters" and "Player Touch" :P
This is how the events are set up. The one on top is for getting down from a ledge and the one at the botton is for getting up from a ledge. When ever I press the corresponding buttons (up or down), nothing happens. I have a feeling I'm doing something wrong. I haven't used RMVX in a while, only XP. <_<
The BEST way to examine my problem, you need to play it. The download link is
.:NOTE:. 1) I know about the "Transparent OFF" in the second picture (the character is supposed to move even though...right?). 2) If you downloaded the game and you saw my horrible map, it's because that's a practice room. When I setup the game, it'll be awesomez. 3) Yes. My character has a white box around him. I'm still Photoshoping him. 4) The songs belong to real artists. Not me. Don't file share them. 5) Sorry the game is 126.4 MB (really 94.4 after you extract). It's because it was an old game I had and I used the maps and all (If you paid attention to my posts and topics, you'll know which game it is). <_<

I found out the problem. :D
It's my setup that was wrong. I put a condition branch that was "if up/down button is being pressed" and then move the character to the desired direction. Turns out that in order for it to work, the chracter must alredy be walking in the desired direction.
