Fayte 0 Report post Posted August 2, 2009 It's been a while... but I'm back. About a year ago I started working on this game with the original name of Fated Hearts. After a writer and fellow member of this forum, Nippa77, started helping me it turned into this beautiful idea and we decided to change the games name to Arcane Revenants. Sometime later Nippa was unavailable to assist me anymore and without his help my project slowly started to die. Simply because without no story this is no game. Since then I've been writing down ideas and different sorts of things in my notebook but I've realized I can't write a full story from beginning to end, so I need help. All I need is 1 writer, maybe 2, to help me complete this game's story. I already have a character list, a few bios, a premise, and a short beginning. I just need one member to help me finish this story till the end. Here is the link to my old concept development thread here. It's a little old but you can see the promise it had and even the praise it was getting from the members here. Arcane Revenants Thread (Also I'd like to note that this thread is severely outdated and that I have much more information on my computer and in my notebook then what is shown. I plan on updating it once the story is at least half way through and we have more to show.) *Quick Premise* You are Arro, a mercenary who at first was just looking for your bounty that got away due to some interruptions (which turned you into an Immortal). The bounty you are looking for is Nito, who has been an Immortal for centuries. When ever an Immortal is "born", for lack of a better word, an Angel is "born" as well. Angels' soul purpose are to kill their Immortal counterparts, but upon killing an Immortal they automatically die and are judged at the Roads of Fate, where their soul will be sent to linger in Tartarus forever. Nito's Angel is Jah, Jah has been hunting Nito down for centuries trying to fufill his soul purpose. As time goes on Jah starts to learn the ways of his origins and wishes to confront his creator about it. Fighting his urge to kill Nito, he wishes to use him to find Aethers forest where the path to the location of the planets creator and God, Aether lies. Since only Immortals can see this path. Arro gets mixed up in all of this and it is somehow now his job to stop Jah from getting to Aether's Forest. Hmm...I had an idea where Nito's, Jah's and Arro's fate are all tied together because while Jah and Arro think that Nito is an Immortal, he is really "something inbetween" and Jah is his Angel and Arro is his Immortal. Fayte 0 Report post Posted August 2, 2009 I didn't really understand the thought you had there... it confused me and gave me a headache :< But anyway Arro's Angel is Eros who also joins the party later. He has his own personal reasons for sticking with the party so he fights his natural inclination to try and kill Arro because of that.
