Nisage 31 Report post Posted August 15, 2009 Sorry if this is in the wrong place. But I was wondering about something for a while now. Most of you know about TeamViewer, correct? OK, now you all know that a lot of people call Tech Support (or whoever it is you call) for help with a problem on their computers and laptops, correct? Now I was wondering if the Tech Support people could use TeamViewer to help out more since they'll see what the problem is. The people with the computer/laptop would just have to rearrange a few files/folders that they don't want anyone to see. This might be a good idea, and it might not be. So what's your opinion on it? Wyzrd 12 Report post Posted August 16, 2009 You can set teamviewer to where they can't see anything unless you grant them permission to it. So I don't think it's really a big deal.

I never knew that, seeing how I never really trusted that TeamViewer thing much. (but then again I never messed around with that long anyway)
EmilyAnnCoons 7 Report post Posted August 16, 2009 Teamviewer is a good program and it works great for Technical Support. I think it would be a good idea to use it for such. We could even do that here on RMXP Unlimited, if someone has a problem, they get Teamviewer and we see what we can do to help.
formlesstree4 18 Report post Posted August 16, 2009 I use Teamviewer myself...and have helped out Nisage and maybe a few others here countless times. I even use it to work on my desktop when I'm on my laptop and vice versa. It's a handly little utility :)
