This is a work in progress of a gargoyle-type/alien from the movie signs battler.

Its nice and big for you to criticize. I was originally going for an anorexic look(which is where the idea for external ribs came from), but it ended up having a muscly upper body.

 

I haven't done the feet and arms yet. I'm thinking for a weapon of giving him the old long chain with sharp blade attached to it.

 

Thoughts?

looks way freaking cool. the only problem is that the lower part of the legs ar TOO thin. sure, you were goin for that, but those legs would snap if he were goin on a hike, lol.

haha, yeah I think I will increase the thickness of the legs. I'm surprised you like it chief, I was expecting harsh feedback from you in particular so im glad you like it.

ha, lol. Im only a critic to thos who are bad. youre not. umm, also, the head is too oval. its gonna be hard to relistially (even within a cartoon eviornment) shade it. try studying a bald humans head. may I suggest bruce willis? lol, but yeah, it needs more of a "head" shape.

Chief I took your advice, and made a lot more progress...WIP 2:

k, lookin way more awesome.

now a new issue. the mouth. its too close to (our) the right side. see, you made the mouth at an angle, and the angle then makes it so the mouth should be closer to the other side of the head, giving the angle a more thought out feel.

even such a small movement of the mouth can go a long way.
