Skill and Class database

PLEASE TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK OF THE CLASS NAMES!!

 

OK.. Well i am basically just seeking feedback on this at the moment.

 

what it is, is: a Class evolution system based on lvling up and needing to speak to a "master"

eg.

 

at the start of the game you begin as a lvl 1 commoner.

Apon reaching lvl 10 commoner you can seek out a master and rank up your class.

 

Please note that this is still a project in work..

i am still undetermined wiether or not this is worth uploading once i have finished.

I think this could be a very interesting concept you have here. From the look of it, once you choose one class, you can not choose another class?

 

So if that's the case it would make playing a game over a couple times possibly worth it, so you can play it with each class.

keeping the class systems from such mmo's as Wow and LineageII and even Maplestory does help with the creating of skills and classes.

 

The idea of this class system is to give the game replay value, Also that little extra customisability for the player.

 

My ideas so far are as follows:

There are multiple races (obviously?)

Human,

Dwarf,

Gnome,

Orc,

Elf,

(expansion characters)

Dark Elf

Undead

Kobold

Deamon

Pixie

---------------- Possibly more races to come?

 

Also the player chooses gender, Male or Female Possibly later on

a 3rd gender called unknown for deamons, undead, kobolds and pixies.

 

Each Race has unique class ups plus also they have access to some of the other classes too.

There are race specific classes that will be added in (similar to an expansion pack)

 

so far the skill data base houses over 100 seperate skills (some have multiple lvl's such as my custom stealing skills and other custom skills)

 

Soon to come will be a demonstration of the system.

by the way, It's all 100% custom animations (using the rtp animation resources i have reconstructed all the skill animations)

 

More ideas popping to my head soon.. i promise ;) :P
