I have read an interesting article about heterosexual men who are attracted to transsexual women. There are many heterosexual men who buy transsexual porn. It is known that the typical homosexual do not find transsexual women attracted because of their feminine features. Do you think these men are actually homosexual, bisexual, or heterosexual? Maybe just curious?

I considerably agree with Lyricalias here. To be honest, some of the images on the article, had I not know they were men, would have been attractive. Recently one of my friends had sex with a post-op transsexual woman. He said as long as she has the "female part" then he is cool with it. I'm glad you pointed that out. Gender and Sex are two different things. Sex is the biological make up. Gender are the roles given to the sexes.

I don't really know...it could be that a transexual can be seen as the "bridge" so to speak between gay and straight....here's why I think that:

 

A Trans-Sexual is not really male or female, since they have both parts (the breasts of a woman and the penis of the man). This makes them in-between the genders. A male that dates a shemale could be sexually curious what it's like with another person that has a penis but isn't..."completely male" either. I don't know how to put it easier than that...

By an attraction alone, you cannot class someone as homosexual or heterosexual. Therefore it has to be said they are displaying attributes of that sexuality. Therefore a man who likes a woman only because they have a penis is showing homosexual attributes, and therefore the answer in my opinion is homosexual.

Ah, but the lady also has girl bits, and therefore he is also exhibiting heterosexual tendencies, and by the same logic he is therefore heterosexual.

 

None of these men only like the women because they have penises, anyway. The kind of men who are attracted to pre-op/non-op transsexual women are attracted to them because, aside from their male genitals, they are entirely female. Gay men as a general rule aren't attracted to them, because they look like women.

 

Of course, it's a bit tough to say that you're 100% heterosexual if you like your women with penises attached. The most I think you could say is that they are mostly straight with some homosexual tendencies.

Common sense at work:

If you're attracted to someone with an actual penis, then you're a homo (or bisexual if you "like" real women too). If you're attracted to someone with an actual penis and a vagina (known as "hermaphrodite"), then you're a bisexual. You may be listed in the "curious" or the "a new type of sexual attraction" section, but there's no denying that you're focusing mainly on the penis aspect, because if you weren't, then why the hell even show an interest for intersexed people?

You really want to know? It depends on what the guy likes. If a guy likes a transsexual who is mostly masculine then he is gay. If a man likes transsexuals who look like real women then he is not gay, but also is not straight. This man should be define as a new sexual orientation.

About the new sexual orientation thing, I still don't think it's possible. If the person was a man, he's sill a man. No matter how much changes they get.

I remember an article I read about a transsexual who wanted to use the women's bathroom. Obviously the women disagreed. I disagreed too. I still see that person as what his/her former self was.
