RPG battle system ideas

Ok: I just thought I could post a contest for Battle systems...

 

Rules:

 

1.Must include all of the following:

Attack

Magic

Equip

Items

Flee

 

2.Must be mostly original not taking items from copyrighted material

Final Fantasy

Kingdom Hearts

Ect.

 

3.Make it so people can understand:

If people can't decode your complications, you are disqualified

The understandability is 50% of the final score

 

4.Bonus- If you think it's bad, I'll judge a sprite custom made by you, if it's 1-10 it goes on the scorecard.

ok here's my entry then.

 

This is the system I'm sing for my game.

 

Commands:

Ability(SKILL)

Block(DEFEND)

Enhance(EQUIP)

 

**NOTE**

1. FIGHT is removed.

2. ITEM is removed.

3. Using Events I've added the ability to use Battle Tiles to effect combat. (Healing, Stat Effects, etc)

OK, no thought at all.

 

Name of system: Class Battle System

How it goes: So basically, this system shows abilities based on the actor's class. For example, it was a mage's turn, and she has 4 commands:

1. Magic (Attack)

2. Spellblast (Skill)

3. Aura (Defend)

4. Provisions (Item)

And if it was a warrior's turn, he would have 4 DIFFERENT choices:

1. Slash (attack)

2. Power (Skill)

3. Parry (Defend)

4. Pack (Item)

So, depending on the actor's class, they get different names of actions. Pretty cool for a game, huh?
