[XP]RPG MAKER Tools in uploading your own sprites

Recommended Posts

Im having trouble making my own sprites. Mostly due to posistioning the sprites where they need to be with out peices of my sprites being cut off. Is there a program that helps you position your sprites for rpg maker xp? I did come across a forum where it metioned this, it was a custom program from someone there on the forum. I never got a chance to download, unsure if it was a virus or not.

thanks in ahead

I Do have photoshop. Grids, ill check into that, where in photoshop can i access that.

Here are some pics step by step.

First make an image width 128 height 256

Background transparent.

Step 1 you want to turn the grid on

Step 2 you want to change the grid settings to what i have.

ps3vy.png

Now once you have that there are your guides

Every 2 32x32 squares down is the standard sprite height now every 1 32x32 is the standard sprite width.

Hope this helps :D

Hey TV head, you might wanna put your comment outside of the quotes next time so Polraudio (or whoever else) knows you actually made a comment.
