Aerow 0 Report post Posted October 15, 2009 As there are Remakes of Gold and Silver,Lets have a Pokemon Emerald Remake too!! Here's Emerald's info : Pokémon Emerald is the third game set in the land of Hoenn. On first looks this game seems to be identical to it's predecessors, Ruby & Sapphire, however there is much more that meet's the eye in this game First thing you'll probably notice are the Pokémon's Animations, similar to how they were animated in Crystal, which are making a welcome return to the Pokémon games. Also, the graphics in this game are sharper than in Ruby/Sapphire with more detail to the overworld Both Team Aqua & Team Magma are heavily involved in this game's storyline as they both try to awaken their respective Pokémons...and when they do, thats where the game radically changes from the other games with a whole bit where they battle and you have to stop them. There is also inclusion of many new areas including Magma Hideout, Mirage Tower, Desert Underpass, Marine Cave, Terra Cave, Studio Cave & finally and most importantly, the Battle Frontier. The Battle Frontier contains 7 buildings which all incorporate a different style of battling where you have to battle through multiple trainers to get to their leader's, The Frontier Brains. These battle styles include Rental Pokémon, Random Rooms, Relying on your Pokémon's Nature to battle, Tournements and many more...definitely a way to challenge any trainer The Gym Leaders & Elite Four have also been updated with different Pokémon and a whole new gym leader! To make things even better you can rebattle the Gym Leaders up to 4 times via the Match Call feature There are many more things to Emerald including Johto Starters, Contests, Breeding & Ability Additions, Rare Legendary Pokémon, Pokémon from other Regions and many many more.. Will post some screenies soon!!
Kiriashi 117 Report post Posted October 15, 2009 So you are making this in RMXP? I personally recommend starting out with a demo project me matie. After that your first real project should be an original. THEN you should make the project you wanted to make from the start.
EmilyAnnCoons 7 Report post Posted October 15, 2009 Sounds interesting, but I'm not too sure what you can "remake" with Pokemon Emerald unless you have a 3D engine. But, it still sounds like a fun idea
miguel1 17 Report post Posted October 15, 2009 This sounds cool, what are you going to include new in this remake? You sould include a option to travel to all regions or something. not to mention to catch them all  Well anyways if you need something, just tell me! zane203 8 Report post Posted October 16, 2009 I used the same battle system just edited the positions in battle, you can also edit the system to make the bars and what not, but it wont be difficult to make a similar version of the system... unless you want it EXACTLY like the pokemon movement thing lol. Luka S.J. 0 Report post Posted December 14, 2009 First of all...yes that is a real ingame screenshot and not the battle system. Secondly: Wow Aerow....I really can't believe you are that pathetic. What? You thought that Pokecommunity is the only forum I visit? And I really love your idea, honestly...but only because it's mine. Now...not to be accused of accusing people falsely, I actually wasted 2 minutes from my life to make and upload a picture. I consider myself to be a rather organised person, and do all that I can to prevent theft of the game I invested the last year in. So I have put a 80% transparent picture of the Softwareclick logo in the top left corner of the bottom screen. Now if you know me from Pokecommunity, you would know that "Softwareclick" is a development team I started. And you can visit the real thread for the game Aerow is showcasing (which btw the image and designs are totally outdated) here. Aerow....get a life, and if you try to steal something, just at least try to change the graphics of the interfaces...that can even be done in paint. This now raises the question to my mind. Are you the guy with the username MaGiXieN? If you are, I wish you all the worse for stealing my game in the first place and making me believe that you are taking it in order to help out. If you aren't, I still wish you all the worse in life for a poor theft attempt. For the future references don't do that, because I promise you...I will find you, and you won't like that one bit at all. Nothing personal though...just business.
