Give me an event system idea!

Recommended Posts

Hello peeps, well currently i've grown bored rebuilding my database entirely lol... and defining all the tileset properties... and mainly tired of setting up the massive leveling trees for my game x.X

so i would like for anyone to suggest an event system that may be "hard" or at least some with some depth to the programming =3.

i've already set up a control system, advanced AI, dynamic map, and am currently for no reason working on a spawn system(respawns items from natural resources and animals more complex...ly lol.)

=3 any E-System you suggest, i shall release in a demo for people =o if i actually complete, im fi, but im not the fiest here lol.

looking forward to something fun to create!

-PS

I will still be working on my project mainly, so do not expect me to go ham on the event system to get it out early or quikcly,

I tried this before but didnt have enough time to finish it.

How about a grid like system like FFX. Where you move along paths and activate nodes to bring up your skills and level up. There are no levels. Its all stats based.

That would be pretty hard to do, a skill tree based on stat parameters. It's doable though.

Go for that one, zane!

lol thats similar to my leveling tree set up. i took the base idea from the skill tree posted here i think, but i redid it based on FFX but with my own touch of leveling blocks and what not.

if you want it just like FFX all i have to do is finish my leveling tree and take out the level blocks make everyone's level 99 or make every level have the same stats straight across, and have the parameters done with items (blue orb, ect.) =D
