[XP] The Zombie's War - Demo version

The story is about a little town.

Every 6 years, the town has been attacked by Zombies and Monsters, and its destroyed.

This year, 2009, the villagers of the town decided they want to fight back!

 

Dex is a traveler who travel across the land, from town to town and living there for a few weeks, and then leave to another town.

Dex came to the town and heared the terrible story, and discovered that in this year, there is another attack expected!

Dex decide that he wants to help them, and he joins Priest Aharon and Chief in their adventure to find out how to stop the war.

 

In the middle of the adventure, before the war, a wierd things happen to Dex like skills, magics, and with them he try to find out where the Zombies come from and how he can stop the attacks.

 

You will play as Dex and Priest Aharon. (You will change character according to the story..)

Priest Aharon will teach Dex the holy skills and "Super Mode", so you will be stronger and you can defeat your enemies!

Okay, play the game and say here to which boss you reached or on which boss you stuck :D

If you will be stuck a lots of time in one boss, I will write like a "tutorial" for that boss.. XDDDDD

Anyway the bosses should be a little bit hard, but it's possible to pass it with few tries ^^

 

Boss's Tutorials: (pictures soon)

First Boss:

 

 

Boss: Tauren

HP: 200

 

Skills:

Normal attack: 2-8, 6-10 crit.

 

No special skills.

 

Boss Tactic:

You will find this boss in the training cave of Priest Aharon.

In this boss you can't die, because Priest Aharon will always heal you when you reach 30% hp, so no tactic require.

Just attack him and wait for heals :D

 

 

 

Second Boss:

 

 

Boss: Angelina (as Zombie)

HP: 400

 

Skills:

Normal attack: 2-8, 6-10 crit.

Heal: Heals the boss for 20 HP.

 

Boss Tactic:

You will find this boss in the cave that Angelina took Dex, and you will play as Priest Aharon to defeat him.

Important thing in this boss is to attack fast, and to save mana.

Every second you waste can make you fail.

 

First of all, you always need to look at his statues. He got 2 statues.

When those 2 statues appear, they will heal the boss for 20 HP every 5 seconds.

So the first thing you need to do is to kill one of the statues, so they won't be able to heal the boss.

When you destroy one of the statues, attack the boss FAST before the statue will respawn, and the boss will get more heals.

 

The statues respawn every 10 seconds, and when they respawn they will heal him for 20 HP, and then wait 5 seconds and then heal him again. (if they still alive)

 

The fight is simple just to kill one of the statues, attack boss until the statues respawn, then kill one of the statue again, and so on..

 

Be carefull not to stand in the place the statues suppose to respawn, its will make you stuck and you will fail.

 

 

 

Third Boss:

 

 

Boss: Zombie Snake

HP: 1,000

 

Skills:

Normal attack: 2-8, 7-10 crit.

Shadow Strike: Hits the enemy for 75% of his total HP.

Mana Drain: Drains 20 mana from the enemy.

 

Adds Abilities:

HP: 200

Normal Attack: 1-2, 2-3 crit.

 

Boss Tactic:

You will find this boss in the city, after Priest Aharon teach you how can you heal yourself.

The boss is pretty difficult, even if you have tactic and you know his skills.

He uses his skills randomaly, so you can't know when exactly he will Mana Drain or Shadow Strike.

 

The most important thing in this boss is to heal fast. So you need always to have mana to heal.

Always look at your HP bar, and when he use "Shadow Strike" (hits you for 75% hp) , heal yourself fast to have full hp, because you don't know when he will use that skill again.

Always keep on your HP to be full, so you won't died because of unlucky Shadow Strike.

Watch out your mana, don't forget he can't drain it too.

 

Every 10%, the boss will dissapear and 2 adds will appear.

They are very weak and slow, but they are very important to us in the battle.

In this point of the fight, you can just run away from them so you can recover your mana before the boss come back.

Try kill the 2 adds away from where you just "killed" the boss, because the boss will respawn there.

Killing the adds away from that point will allow you to get more time to recover mana after the adds and before the boss come attack you.

 

After the 2 adds died, the boss will come back.

After more 10%, 2 adds will respawn the boss will dissapear again.

 

When the boss reach to 20%, he is no longer summon adds.

The forum isn't inactive and I'm sure some people wanted to download the trial but until recently the megaupload site has said "File is Temporarily Unavailable". Also, I have had quite a lot of trouble with megaupload when I try to upload my games. Usually created glitches of all kinds... I suggest uploading your game to a site like 2shared.com, as I have found it is the most reliable when it comes to RMXP games. There are also a heap of other sites that work but I cannot remember its name.

 

I've played the game and I really like it. When you find the girl there is a lot of glitching with the zombies because if you take a step in any direction the dialog repeats itself. And, also, you can't go any further when you get here:

 

 

Why it that? A glitch?

Anyway, in the picture you gave, you need to go to the left, not down.. I'll delete this thing, I see it makes people confuse.

 

About the glitches, I didn't really understand..

I liked the bosses, not too hard and not too easy. It also has a really good storyline :D . I like the entire game so far. Is it finished yet or are you still working on it?

About the blue map.. It's blue because it suppose to be night lol.. And black doesnt look nice..

In my opinion blue color is good for night :D

 

And yes, I know my mapping abilities are weak, im a bad mapper lol.. That thing I need some practice with.

Look man, criticism isn't something to defend yourself in replies with. I am trying to help you. Quite frankly, it doesn't matter what you think, it matters what the players think. Do you not agree?

EDIT: I can't even it finish it. I'm sorry, but it is way too glitchy. When you are in the woods, you can easily get stuck with the old man in your way, the zombies can corner you which causes an infinite loop of death, and as far as I can tell, they do one hit damage.
