Dr_Octagonapus 0 Report post Posted November 5, 2009 Hello. I am in need of urgent assistance. I have recently downloaded the XAS battle system. When I went to open the Game.rxproj file (the editor with the custom scripts), it will show the usual screen that pops up when RMXP loads (with the characters) and then an error message comes up saying "Failed to load actor data." I recently checked the Mode 7 file I downloaded (used Mode 7 script in an early game, so it was working beforehand), and the same message came up. Can someone please help me? Polraudio 122 Report post Posted November 5, 2009 It seems like your actors.rxdata either missing or corrupt. I highly doubt its because of a script you added. Check and see if its there and if its not you might need to replace it from a new project. You also might get other errors like other things cannot be found. Just replace till you get no error. You will have lots of work to do in getting everything you lost remade. I know its a pain. i had this happen many times on projects i worked on for months. It was a demo. It had the data from the game in the WinRAR file. I dunno. http://www.atelier-rgss.com/RGSS/Battle/XAS_00a.html This is the website where I got the demo from. The game works, but the XP Editor file it comes with doesn't.

Polraudio 122 Report post Posted November 6, 2009 Theres the legal one, PK's version and a patch version. I know all scripts work with the legal one but some fail with the other versions. And you said you cant open the project so you must have PK's or the patch version so it wont work. But if you have the legal one and its not opening try replacing the project file. It might work.
