OverlordMao 0 Report post Posted November 8, 2009 Well, I'm not sure how long it took for my laptop's built-in mouse to finally break, but it did... I can barely use my mouse as of right now... I may still be in high school, but I can ask my dad to do one of two things. Fix the Laptop mouse, which will result in a long time being unable to use this laptop and will allow me to use a mouse system I've been use to for the last year or so, or get a USB Mouse, I haven't used that kind of a mouse in a long time but theres less of a chance for it to break (I think...) and I can be back online faster. My question is... Which would be better and a more long-time fix?
Blackbound 4 Report post Posted November 8, 2009 Get an external USB mouse. Mine is a Logitech v220 Wireless Optical Mouse. Ive been using it for two years and it has never ran out on me. I bought it to get rid of my trackball mouse that I had (which btw is a piece o crap, </3 trackballs)
Polraudio 122 Report post Posted November 8, 2009 I would get a USB mouse hands down. To tell you the truth laptop touchpads are not that great, there more of a pain that anything. Mouses are way quicker and easier to use. Most people i know use a USB mouse with their laptop just like me.

Noob Saibot 38 Report post Posted November 15, 2009 USB Mouse is what I would suggest. Of course you have 3 options when buying them. Battery Powered----Needs batteries; when they die need to replace. Wire Powered----Draws its power from the USB itself. Wireless---This comes in two types: Thumb Drive--- plug thumb drive in USB; may use batteries or come with a charger stand. Wire Charger--- a wire connected to a charger connects to your PC/laptop. The mouse it self has no wire and when not in use place on charger. *If I missed any post them.
