Help with Lighting Effects

Recommended Posts

Well, I'm dabbling in lighting effects, and i would like some added advice/tips on it.

I've seen the cosmetic light tutorial, and loved it of course, but now i want to go even further with bigger maps, and different types of lighting.

Example- I've seen about 4 games with a light effect with light shining from the top left corner of the screen... i have yet to be able to recreate that image myself in photoshop xD.

so if anyone has some tips and advice with lighting... or any advice i welcome all ^_^

Well Calibre's Cosmetic Lighting guide gives good examples if I remember correctly. Is that the tutorial you read?
