El Gorro 0 Report post Posted November 14, 2009 Hello all, firstly, here's a link back to the project's page; El Gorro RPG Page So, what I really need is the following; Artists; The characters in El Gorro and often anthropomorphic animals, so, simply put, I can't just go ahead and use some stock paladin. ;) Character Portraits Game Pictures; Ie Title Screen, and etc. Enemies Spriters; Overworld Character Sprites In-Battle Sprites While I'm not an artist by any stretch of the imagination, I can do some sketches and basically give the overall concept of the character. In other cases, I'll just give a brief descriptor, and you could run wild with it. :) Any and ALL help is appreciated.
Kiriashi 117 Report post Posted November 14, 2009 Post started here. But because you are a beginner, I recommend completing your first project on your own. I don't mean you shouldn't get help, just that you don't have a team. It looks like the only full time team member you are looking for is a sprite artist. And those guys, well... you aren't going to find someone to work on just your project, but they might get a few things done for ya'. Anyways, what I'm saying is that for your first project, you should make it more personal. Here's some info: Character Portraits: Look in the link at the beginning of my post. Title Screen: Give me an outline and I can get one done for you. Enemies: RPGMakerVX.net\.com both have a lot of resources like these. .Net is the forum and .com is the homepage. Over-world Character Sprites: It would be easier to use the normal sprites as over-world sprites. In-Battle Sprites: It shouldn't be to hard to get one of the folks at .NET to make you some battlers.
