Exclusive Content & A Thought

Recommended Posts

A Thought

Post what exclusive content you will be able to offer to RMXPU. This topic is ment to get people motivated and inspired on what they can offer RMXPU.

Exclusive Content

Alright so if RMXPU is going to have exclusive content for this site I have been deciding on what I can bring to the table and came up with the following:

Tutorials

So I actually have many of these floating around and all are out dated and I plan on updating them and making them exclusive to RMXPU. All of my Tutorials will be found in the new Tutorial section and contain a downloadable PDF file for offline use and comw with a working demo.

Media (music & sound)

I recently bought Adobe Audition, Adobe Sondbooth, and Magix Music Maker 15 so expect to see exclusive background music and sounds. I will also be doing requests (a request topic where you will be able to request media will be posted soon). Take note music with voice; a real person singing can be requested, but won't be free; keep that in mind when making request for background music. Media that has someone talking (saying a sentance or a few words) will be free.

A Random Script

Once SepherothSpawn is done with my $200 Yu-Gi-Oh script battle system I will release it for free exclusivly to RMXPU and continue to get scripts exclusivly for RMXPU. I can't script, but I can use money to motivate those who can to make them. I will not take requests, but I will take suggestions.

Tutorial Convertion

If you have a nice tutorial and want an offline version of is and don't have Acrobat Professional 9 or some type of PDF maker drop me a PM and I will make one for you (e.g. make it in Microsoft Works or Microsoft Office format (images is a must) and I will convert it for you (download link will be provided by you).

Well this topic inspired me, so thanks!

It's sounds like a good idea to gather up tutorials we've made and make sure they are on this site as well/only.

Two members give a hoot about the community. Nice.

How did I not see this topic before? :o

What can I offer as exclusive content to RMXPU?

Well, if RMXP Pool falls through, I can offer my resources exclusively to RMXPU. Other than that, I cannot think of much at the moment.

O I care lots. I just don't feel the need to reply.

All my stuff goes to Unlimited anyways. This is the only place you can go to find my games and 95% of my resources.

I upload VX resources almost everyday. We only have 85 resources for VX, and I am uploading most of the VX resources. I am also uploading games to the forums. I care about this place!

And thus this is how some forums seem dead.

I have to agree. I see people online and not posting. I see new members who never become active.

More than two care. This is actually a branch off of A previous topic.

I feel like I need to correct you on this. I am not demanding any members to share and post content, or even urging them(which is what this topic is doing). To put it as simple as possible, I want to change RMXPUnlimited to motivate people to submit their own content. Although this may sound ambiguous to you. And also for our staff/gurus to provide their own interpretation of how to do things in the RPG Makers. I say interpretation because what they write is unique and therefore exclusive to the site.

I dont mind if other members urge or push for others to submit content, but there is no pressure from the staff. Lack of content and active members if the fault of the admin, and you may be wondering what I'm doing to fix this. Well, guys know how i can go on to ramble, so i write anymore on it in this topic. I'm just wondering whether to move decisions through the Board of Trustees, or to do it all on my own.

Haha, we're approaching 8,000 members. There's obviously a big problem there...
