Tomo2000 60 Report post Posted December 18, 2009 The storyline of "Alone" is quite simple; your character awakens in a room with no memory of what has happened before awaking, not even her own name. She later discovers that she has been kidnapped. She does not know by who, why or where she is. She just knows that she must escape... or her life will escape her. Name: ??? Gender: Female Age: Early 20's Description: '???' wakes up, after being kidnapped, and cannot remember anything about what happened before she woke up. What caused this memory loss was probally a blow to the head and it is a wonder that she is still alive. Now she has to play a game as she tries to escape an abandoned town. Name: "Kidnapper" Gender: Unknown; probally Male Age: Unknown Description: Not much is known about this person except this is the person who kidnapped the main character. Many questions surround this character; who is this person, why did he/she kidnap the main character, what does he/she have to do with the main character, etc.. Will these questions be answered? Only one way to find out. -A Puzzle World; The entire game world is filled with items, locks, keys, notes and other things that make nearly the entire game one huge puzzle. -Drama; A heap of drama; kidnapping, puzzles, and the constant threat of getting killed by wildly-placed and ever-advancing death traps. Will you survive? -Learn Skills; By editing some scripts by our dear friend, Agckuu_Coceg, you can make First-Aid Equiptment, cook food and smith required items out of trash you find lying around to help you survive this perilous journey to freedom. Thanks for the comments, guys. I'll post some screenshots ASAP. Edit: Ok, the 1st release is available for download at the "Download" section. It may have a glitch or two but you can only do the puzzle in the first room. When talking to the door it takes you to the game over screen with the wording "End of Demo". Enjoy. I hope it's not like Saw cuz that movie made me claustrophobic (if that's how it's spelled) when the guys were chained up in the room. .:EDIT:. I'm a bit stuck. I found matches in the barrel washed my hands with water, found the note and attached it to the piano. Now, I can't find the keys and the screwdriver for the pot... Im glad you enjoyed the game. Also, 'Alone v1.5+' is now available. Fixed a couple of glitches, tinted and rooms and added some cobwebs here and there. Enjoy.
