Need your input, how many misc. systems are enough?

Ok, my project KoS is a BBB project. Big but Bearable (lol big but), and i've been making multiple systems for the game (well working on multiple.)

 

I've come up with a two in particular (nothing hard) but uhhh it'll force the game file to be a LOT bigger than other 1st time projects.

 

one system is "Zane Blalock's Battle Feel System": where as the battler graphic changes when it comes to a specific % of health, granted im still working on getting the the system off the base coding, as it has to do with variables connected with the HP and I have to do all that division and crap, but yea, does this seem like a addicting feature? since it'll need a lot of graphics and there's a lot of characters... lol...

 

 

the other system deals with audio, im working on having battle comments and having every PERSONAL skill trigger a dialog you know:

=Ichigo Uses bankai

--so the audio plays where (who ever will be ichigo's voice actor) says "BAN...KAI!"

this will increase the size since again a lot of characters, a lot of personal moves, a lot of audio files.

 

is it worth it? do you like it?

You have some good ideas. If they work for you then do them. The programing will make your game appeal to be more professional. :)

thanks ^^, i have the audio system down... just need the voice actors and need to complete the planned out phrases. O_o

 

as for the graphics... i think it'd work if i did a div of the control variable based off maxHP. im just going get this calculator and see what i can when i do a division based off 100 75 50 25 and see if that gives me the outcome i looking for.

Sounds like some good battle system add-on ideas to me. Your title doesn't make much sense though.. these sound like add-ons for effect, I'm sure if you made enough of them you could call it your own battle system.

oh lol, just wanted to know do you think its worth the extra file size O_o i mean my game personally has A LOT of characters AND special personal moves lol
