Need help with Cold´s Bestiary script for RMXP

Question

Hello, I´ve just downloaded Cold´s Bestiary script, but I have a problem in using it - I´m using Caldaron´s ABS battle system, but when I defeat an enemy, it doesn´t show in the Bestiary. Is there a way how to fix it, or how to put the defeated enemies into the Bestiary manually? Or is there any other bestiary script which will work with an ABS battle system? Please, help, I really need that bestiary in my game and don´t know what to do :(

Have you tried another Bestiary script?

 

 

Yes, I´ve tried Momomo´s script and KGC, but nothing worked... :(

Sounds to me like there's a variable or something missing from the ABS, which the bestiary uses to detect a new enemy. Can you post a link to both scripts? Sounds like one or both need to be edited.

 

In the meantime, here's another bestiary:

Anyway, I´m going to try the bestiary script you posted here. Perhaps it will work for me :)

I took a little look at Sephirothspawns Monster Database Advanced(the one I linked), and he alias the default battle scene so I think that's where the script picks up which enemies you have ran into. Since an ABS is a completely different system, the bestiary script probably needs a whole lot of editing. I think though this can be achieved by aliasing the ABS's battle scene.

 

I can't promise anything, except I will definitely try my best to get it working. I'd like for a scripter to jump in here :P But we need to know which bestiary you would like to use.

Hello, I´ve tried the bestiary script you posted, but unfortunately, it didn´t work again :( . I see it´ll be really difficult to get the script to work together with the ABS... anyway, I think I will use Cold´s bestiary script, because it looks better in my game than the other bestiary scripts I´ve tried...
