Chief 30 Report post Posted January 8, 2010 So, i really hate poetry, but I had to write an Ode for school, as part of a huge project. I loathe poetry and all, but is this any good? The outer Edges Oh how ye endless darkened trembles roll. Thy vast mysterious other worlds do grow And upset both our south and north most pole. I seek naught but ye in thy endless show. We reach our edge but thine is ours tenfold. Thy suns do shine more bright than our own glow. Ye hold much more than we could ever know. Through all thy veins, ye show our great arise. Such vigor do we hold in our ego, When home is such a small and lesser size. Such is our choice to gaze upon expo Of thine great beauty sewn upon our eyes. Noob Saibot 38 Report post Posted January 8, 2010 I hate poems...mostly cause I suck at writing them. More a story guy; in fact when my old teachers would say, "We have an assignment and I want you to write a poem." I got the jitters...but of course the teachers always said after words,"or a story. And then you'll read it to the class." I never did the poems (and any assignments where I did a poem thank you I did not have to read my horrible mess out loud). But with a smile I can say when I read my short stories the class was dead silent and it earned me the nickname Keven King (from Stephen King). Nice poem thought.
