The most useful rmxp forum you've been to.

Recommended Posts

So what is the most useful RPG Maker Forum that you have come across?

For me, it is Creation Asylum. The reason for that is, its the first forum(about anything) that I had been to. And that got me back into RPG Maker XP(I stopped using it, wasnt even on forums) and is also the reason I started this forum. Well its not the reason, but it if it wasnt for CA, this forum wouldnt exist.

I have to check out RRR, I dont think I have yet.

I've got some feeling that this ones gonna get really big

Well thats the plan. Just need to give people away of getting here. Thats the hard bit.

For some reason I dont like posting at any other forums except CA, and my own ofcourse. I dont know why, maybe because i have been there the longest.

Anyone else?

Well the CA does have some 'wacky' members, but its an overall fun place to be.

The most useful forum, to me, has to be RRRevolution. The forums, along with their site, has lots of awesome resources just waiting to be downloaded.

Creation Asylum. I love that place. So fun.

Rival CA?

Why not? I'll help. Someone with some artistic talent, back me up. What we need to make it big are some Uber-games. We make a few Uber-games, and people will flock in because we've got the juice. So, let's get cracking. I'll write anything. Hit me up. Uber-gamedom, here I come!

Seriously, how can you read my posts and not give the screen funny looks? I'd think it's a natural reaction.

:D You're a funny one.

Ok, now Creation Asylum has been around for a couple of years, and we just started up. So lets not get to ahead of ourselves. Now why would I start a forum without the intention of making it the best of its kind? Well I wouldnt really, I want to make this the best place it can be, and thats what I intend to do. My first goal, ofcourse, is to help everyone that comes here, who needs help. And make sure that they get their problem solved.

You can all help by making this place the best it can be, by helping me do this. Then we can talk about rivals :D

Oh, sure. Suck the fun out of it, Fun-sucker!

Okay. I'll help anyone who needs it. Maybe I'll pop out a few writing tip tuts, or something. After all, that's what I do. I write. It's more or less my job description. ^_^

Now if only I got paid for it. This whole pro-bono, free-lance thing sucks. Why don't I ever get published. Oh, no, the guy with a poem about toasters gets it, and I get stuck goofing off on the internet. When I make it big, when I bust, see if I ever help out that rich company executive who ignored my talents! Wait... what?

Sorry. Point taken, though.

...Shutting up.

Ah, good deal. A marker against which to measure oneself!

Tis good to have a goal, lest one succumb to laziness. Verily, tis a blessing to have someone to struggle against, even if for just a one-sided race. Truly, an endeavor worthy my attentions.

Oh, alright. I'll get serious. I kinda like that place. Looks... cozy.

But, we're slightly off topic, I think. Maybe. Where am I again?

I'd have to say, before it became version 1.02 of RMXP ONLY, RMXP.org was good. I had friends on there that helped me out. However, when the english version of RMXP came out, RMXP.org freaked out. Anyone running RMXP that wasn't using 1.02 at that time was warned or banned right away, thus, about half their members left. Me, I got a 70% warning because I used RMXP v1.01 during the JOH CoC era, and I also tried to host a contest that allowed any RMXP version, be it legal or illegal. So, now I only go there if someone responds to my request for voices, which no one has in 4 months so...

Otherwise...i can't really say...I haven't gotten much help off CA, and other then here, CA is about the only place I go anymore so...

Yeah, agreed. I liked RMXP.org cause they helped out a LOT in getting me graphics...but ever since I was hit by a 70% warn...no one has wanted to help me...the worst part is, I HAVE to announce now that I'm using the legal version, otherwise I get warned because I used to tell people that I didn't use 1.02 because of the fact that it not only cost $60 which I didn't have (thus wasn't ABLE to buy it...which people yelled at me about...won't go into that here cause it's off topic) but also the fact that you can't do as much with 1.02...

Oh well, I use it now...and I'm rarely ever on .org anyway so...CA is good though, nice people...just...hard to get help...good for premade resources, bad for getting help getting resources made. RMXP.org was good for getting resources made, but not the place to go unless you were requesting...

I don't like RMXP.org anymore and the members, particularly 4-8 members of my forum want to gather up and kill it. RMXP.net was always my favorite site and .org used to be my favorite site. I know I'm going to get funny looks because they're the same community with a different name and look but back when RMXP.net was around, everything was a-ok in my opinion. RMXP.net was the first forum I've ever joined and I loved it there. I know it sounds a little funny but if you were in my shoes, I think you'd understand. Anyway, most inspiring and useful forum around? RMXP.net when it was around. ;)

Yeah...it's cause Lord Gradient made RMXP.net good...now it's in the hands of Erk, which I can't stand (to be truthful)...

Werent they one of the first RPG Maker forums? With that amount of members, the amount of rpg maker xp creation(Work, dont know the right word) is very large. People want to do it. The biggest challenge of any new rpg maker xp forum.

I liked rmxp.net. But i didnt spend too much time there. It dosent sound funny to me punkid, it makes alot sense.
