TheSchneid 0 Report post Posted January 12, 2010 I read in the news yesterday/the day before that scientists no longer believe that climate change is caused by Pollution and all that... instead all the effects by the weather in recent days/weeks/months has caused all the model predictors that they use to be irrelevant due to them being based only on pollution levels and nothing else. I was wondering what everyone else thought of this weather... cos atm its been snowing down here as you can see in the link here... ^my video
Tomo2000 60 Report post Posted January 12, 2010 We watched about 6 videos and did 3 giant friggen tests on this and the entire time I was saying its a natural accurance but everyone was like "No, the tempurature is gonna reach 60 and we're all gonna die" and for each person who said that I just wanted to slap them. Yeah, that's right! THATS WHY I'M IN THE TOP 2% OF AUSTRALIA FOR SCIENCE YOU CRAZY BASTARDS!!!
TheSchneid 0 Report post Posted January 12, 2010 haha xD yep it is a natural occurrence.. in planetary years its a common occurrence in our lifespan it would be seen as highly rare jsut like the earths magnetic field... which is due to flip over... so that the north is the south.. and the south is north... and although that is rare in planetary years but it still happens... and there blaming that on Global Warming as well xd
Tomo2000 60 Report post Posted January 13, 2010 The human race is already adapted to live in Antarctica. A bit more advancing and we could survive an ice age. I think we could do pretty well, already, but still have some casualties.
TheSchneid 0 Report post Posted January 13, 2010 we already have survuved numerous minor ice ages.. and one big ice age xd (Human Race Overall not modern man) but yeah like you said we can survive it but with casualties
Tomo2000 60 Report post Posted January 13, 2010 What I actually find quite interesting will be the number of people who commit suicide before the date the world is supposed to end.

Tomo2000 60 Report post Posted January 13, 2010 And that movie "2012" is doing nothing to help this topic. If you ask me; nothing will happen, the movie is just to make money off of peoples fears and that it's all a big media thing to get attention, just like Global Warming. TheSchneid 0 Report post Posted January 13, 2010 well 2012 isnt going to be the end of the world.. (would be a bit weird if it turned 2012 and suddenly the world disintegrated) but indeed it isnt helping.. and its fear and shock and hate and anger that makes money.. love and happyness very rarely sells or makes money... its money that makes the world go round... even if we dont like money... isaacsol 10 Report post Posted June 26, 2010 Technically, we are still in an Ice age. An Ice age is just when there are ice caps in the northern and southern poles. The severity of the Ice age is based on how far down the ace sheet extends. And yes, before the planet goes into a deep freeze, it does warm up considerably.
