evil cabbage 9 Report post Posted January 19, 2010 This is the second utility in my line of RMXP apps - Windowskin Maker! Note, if you wish to request an RMXP utility to be made, please see this thread Basically, it allows you to put together an RMXP windowskin graphic based on image files that you select. These files are automatically resized for you and you can then export your windowskin by with only a couple of mouse clicks. Sorry, the help buttons don't do anything at the moment. LaDestitute 3 Report post Posted July 11, 2010 Sorry to gravedig, but I think my opinions on this will make up for it. Overall, this is a good program; however there are some faults with it. The interface is a bit clunky...or it just may be me instead of that. The options at top are a bit difficult to work with...I think you sould make it so it can read .png/.gif/.bmp/.jpeg (Although I would go with png, being a losseless but small size format) as configuration files and vice versa. The windowskins that come out via this program are a bit unaligned. You sould fix that.

evil cabbage 9 Report post Posted July 12, 2010 The images are resized automatically
CrimsonInferno 35 Report post Posted July 12, 2010 .......and it won't mess up the quality at all? o.O
evil cabbage 9 Report post Posted July 12, 2010 It all really depends on the image itself. The thing is though, even if your resized your image with an image editor, it would still compromise the quality of the original image. When an image is resized, the amount of pixels forming the image is greatly reduced, therefore resizing an image will always degrade it's quality, no matter what program you choose to do it with. CrimsonInferno 35 Report post Posted July 12, 2010 Well, what if you make it the right size from the start? Wouldn't that make it so where even if it did resize, it would have to mess with the quality?
Kiriashi 117 Report post Posted July 12, 2010 I think she just wants to know the dimensions dude. ^~^ And I love that emote Crimson!
CrimsonInferno 35 Report post Posted July 12, 2010 Yes, I do. But I was hoping to know if making it the right size before hand will help it look better :) *I can post more in a GIF thread or something, if you'd like them all :)
evil cabbage 9 Report post Posted July 12, 2010 Look to be honest, I'll come out plain with you....... I can't tell you the dimensions you require because I have lost the original source code. I'll have a detailed search and see if I can find it.
