fthmdg 0 Report post Posted January 22, 2010 Hello! :D My name's Max, but you can call me shaggy or fthmdg or whatever, I really don't care. I've been using RPG maker for a while on and off, and have somewhat recently started a project in RMXP called Outpost, which I'll post about in a bit. As far as skills and that stuff go, I am a decent mapper, and I can do some pretty complex event systems. I can't script for the life of me though, but I want to learn how to. Anyway, that's that I guess. :]

fthmdg 0 Report post Posted January 22, 2010 Welcome to the forums! What are your favorite hobbies? Well I've been playing guitar for almost 6 years now, so that's something I've always loved. That and drawing. And I've been programming since I was in 2nd grade [VB6 ftw! haha] due to my dad being a computer programmer, I got started early :]

formlesstree4 18 Report post Posted January 22, 2010 VB6?? You're a legacy developer (or your dad was)!!! VB.net ftw (object oriented yay!) Anyway, welcome and enjoy yourself!
fthmdg 0 Report post Posted January 23, 2010 VB6?? You're a legacy developer (or your dad was)!!! /bow Yes sir, both statements would be correct. My dad and I are legacy developers ;] VB.net ftw (object oriented yay!) Anyway, welcome and enjoy yourself! .net is pretty sweet, but it's got a bit of a different framework than vb6 does. It's structured a bit different, and a few of the syntaxs seem strange to me. I like my oldschool, what can i say?
