TO KEEP IT PROFESSIONAL YOU WILL BE CREDIT AS YOUR LEGAL NAME AND NOT YOUR USER NAME ON THIS OR ANY OTHER SITE. Well I already have SephirothSpawn as a scripter and Legacyblade might join as well as a scripter. Which brings me to a point that if you wish to see if I have paid them for any type of game production services simply contact them and they can confirm I am legit and not pulling anyone's leg. Chief 30 Report post Posted January 23, 2010 You see, I used to do work for free, and it was great and all, but Ive got my own projects as well, and any time that draws me away from my own wwork must be compensated. Ive got a hosting company to put on the internet by the end of the month, my own MMO to get a beta out by July, and then dealing with peoples paid requests... Leon 55 Report post Posted January 23, 2010 I'm just saying why get paid for doing something you enjoy? trick is to take it in stride. In fact, I just finished a script for Emmy-chan. If only to take a break from my own boredom with mapping. To me, scripting is a break from the norm, and I don't think I could bring myself to charge for a hobby, because then it turns to work; and when it does that, i scrap it because I just flat out hate work. Noob Saibot 38 Report post Posted January 23, 2010 Well the reason I am offering to pay is I am going to attempt to sell the game made. yes depending on who you are you might think it cheap to us RMXP rather then program my whole game, but as business we have to start some where and thus this means the bottom of the pole. Main reason I am up for paying is I won't need permission to use a script already made, seems kind of cheap to use a pre-made script. And I have only met a small amount of people who can make tilesets. Plus I have someone who is going to create the stance images (RMXP battler) for $97 per character. A graphics to do list... 1) 100 character sets. 2) 100 Stance Images 3) 100 Face Sets 4) 25 Battle Character Sets (specific to our Battle Script) 5) 200 Monster Character Sets (this includes animals and monsters) 6) 100 Monster Face Sets (includes only monsters) 7) 150 Monster Stance Images (100 monsters and 50 animals) 8) 175 Animated Monster Battle Sets (specific to our Battle Script) 9) Two Title Screens 10)Three Game Over Screens 11) Animated Menu system (unique to our script) 12) 100 Icons (maybe more) 13) 1 World Tile Set 14) ?? When are we ever truly free? Myself am quite busy as well: starting Medevil Studios, Ripped Assassin, Medevil Hosting, and getting my How to guide series "The Fools Guide" started. Plus this game as well. It is more paper work that I care to fill out and more money I'd rather not, but it takes money to make money and thus I find the time.
